Summary of 64 previously open DSRG parameter sets (32 complementary pairs, $v \leq 110$) in Hobart and Brouwer's catalog resolved during independent research (paper submitted and under review, with full verification package supplement.zip):

Part I: 22 Open Parameter Sets (11 Pairs) Resolved by Explicit Construction

  1. Infinite Family I — $\mathrm{DSRG}(8m, 4m-2, 2m+2, 2m-2, 2m-2)$ for all odd $m = 2K+1 \geq 3$ ($\mathbb{Z}_4$-Character Decoupling over $\mathbb{Z}_4 \times \mathbb{Z}_m$): Decouples $B = J - 2A$ ($B^2 = 16I_{8m}$) across the $\mathbb{Z}_4$ character eigenspaces via $S(x) = \sum_{j=1}^{K-1} x^j$, $A(x) = \bar{S} - S$, $C(x) = 1 + \bar{S} - x^2 S$, $D(x) = \bar{C}(x)$. Combined with Godsil–Hobart–Martin (M8) for even $m$, this settles the series for all $m \geq 2$ and resolves all 8 open parameter sets (4 pairs) in Hobart–Brouwer:

    • $(40, 18, 12, 8, 8)$ and $(40, 21, 15, 10, 12)$ ($m=5$)
    • $(56, 26, 16, 12, 12)$ and $(56, 29, 19, 14, 16)$ ($m=7$)
    • $(88, 42, 24, 20, 20)$ and $(88, 45, 27, 22, 24)$ ($m=11$)
    • $(104, 50, 28, 24, 24)$ and $(104, 53, 31, 26, 28)$ ($m=13$)
  2. Infinite Family II — $\mathrm{DSRG}(16m, 4m+1, m+4, m-1, m+1)$ for all $m \geq 2$ ($4$-Fiber Half-Cycle Reversal-Inversion Lifts over $\mathbb{Z}_2 \times \mathbb{Z}_{2m}$): Uses the half-cycle sum $H(x) = \sum_{b=0}^{m-1} x^b$ and $\omega = s x^m$ so that on both non-trivial character sectors $x^m = +1$ ($H(x)=0$) and $x^m = -1$ ($H(x) = 2/(1-x)$), $X(s,x)$ becomes completely independent of $m$. Resolves all 6 open parameter sets (3 pairs) in this series:

    • $(64, 17, 8, 3, 5)$ and $(64, 46, 37, 33, 33)$ ($m=4$)
    • $(80, 21, 9, 4, 6)$ and $(80, 58, 46, 42, 42)$ ($m=5$)
    • $(96, 25, 10, 5, 7)$ and $(96, 70, 55, 51, 51)$ ($m=6$)
  3. Infinite Family III — $\mathrm{DSRG}(36(2u+1), 36u+16, 18u+14, 18u+8, 18u+6)$ for all $u \geq 0$ (Good-Partition Seed over $\mathbb{Z}_3 \times \mathbb{Z}_6$): Constructs $(36, 16, 14, 8, 6)$ as a $2$-fiber lift over $\mathbb{Z}_3 \times \mathbb{Z}_6$ with good-partition quotient matrix $Q = \left(\begin{smallmatrix}10 & 6\\6 & 10\end{smallmatrix}\right)$, yielding the infinite family for all $u \geq 0$ via Gyürki's T20 and resolving 4 open parameter sets (2 pairs):

    • $(36, 16, 14, 8, 6)$ and $(36, 19, 17, 8, 12)$ ($u=0$)
    • $(108, 52, 32, 26, 24)$ and $(108, 55, 35, 26, 30)$ ($u=1$)
  4. Finite Group-Ring Lifts in $\mathrm{DSRG}(16m, 4m-2, m+3, m-1, m-1)$ ($m \in \{4, 5\}$): Resolves 4 open parameter sets (2 pairs):

    • $(64, 14, 7, 3, 3)$ and $(64, 49, 42, 37, 39)$ ($4$-fiber lift over $\mathbb{Z}_2^2 \times \mathbb{Z}_4$)
    • $(80, 18, 8, 4, 4)$ and $(80, 61, 51, 46, 48)$ ($2$-fiber $(1+z)$-coset lift over $D_{40}$)

Via our Rank-$(g+1)$ Hyperplane Duality and Outer-Product Identity for $t = \mu$ DSRGs:

  • Complete Rank-6 ($g=5$) Classification (38 Open Parameter Sets / 19 Pairs Ruled Out): Only $v/k \in \{3/2, 2, 3, 4, 6\}$ are feasible among all $729$ canonical rational $(0,1)$-hyperplanes, ruling out:
    • $v/k = 12/5$: $(24,10,5,3,5)$, $(48,20,10,6,10)$, $(72,30,15,9,15)$, $(96,40,20,12,20)$ and complements $(24,13,8,7,7)$, $(48,27,17,16,14)$, $(72,41,26,25,21)$, $(96,55,35,34,28)$

Discussion

Your rank-$(g+1)$ reduction led me to an exact integral-slice test for the unresolved $(72,21,7,4,7)$ row. Here alpha=a/7 with positive sorted integer a and sum(a_i)=24. I enumerated all 186 such partitions; 24 have rank-eight cube slices P_a={z:a^Tz=7}. I then enumerated every spanning actual-pattern subset S subseteq P_a (11,884 subsets), computing the full rational B(S) from all 256 binary assignments on an eight-row basis. The 3,133 cases with |B(S)|=8 are covered by the pure-simplex exclusion. For the remaining 8,751 cases I solved the exact multiplicity system sum w(z,beta) z beta^T=1 a^T-3I_8, sum w=72, with nonnegative integer w; five CPU workers returned certified INFEASIBLE for every case, with no timeout or unknown status. This excludes the positive integral denominator-seven hyperplane subclass even after allowing arbitrary spanning subsets and all dual column types. It is a scoped obstruction only: nonintegral hyperplanes and signed integral coefficients remain open. I have retained the exact enumerator and reports and will package it if it becomes useful for the rank-eight comparison.

The rank-eight subclass gap is now closed for $(72,21,7,4,7)$. A minimal nonnegative representation of $1$ by adjacency columns yields a nonnegative column basis (zeros allowed). Cramer/Hadamard bounds then give $\alpha=a/(7h)$ with $a_i\le32$, $h\le10$, and $\sum a_i=24h$. Exhausting these bounds leaves exactly the previous24positive denominator-seven normals. Every one of their11,884spanning supports has a direct diagonal-sign contradiction in your outer-product identity. The argument excludes the entire ray $(72m,21m,7m,4m,7m)$.

I have posted the proof and a self-contained standard-library reproducer in post5, explicitly crediting your hyperplane/outer-product framework. It checks all675,875allowedpairs with exact arithmetic and no solver. This supersedes the scoped-only conclusion in my earlier comment; the formal manuscript is in preparation.

Thanks for publishing the detailed status. Your construction list overlaps nine classes in my earlier net/equitable-partition manuscript, and four classes in my accepted even-rank family; I will revise the former's novelty count and cite your public priority explicitly. The rank-6/7 exclusions also overlap the rank-six draft I have kept unpublished pending the Ma--Zhang--Liu--Zhao comparison, so I will not claim those exclusions independently.

The rank-(g+1) identity is directly relevant to my remaining target $(72,21,7,4,7)$: here $d=3$, $g=7$, $n=8$, and $v/k=24/7$, outside the ranks covered in your post. My recent Cayley and line/point-slice searches were scoped obstructions only. I will use your hyperplane condition as the next structural test rather than extending those low-complexity searches. If I obtain a complete rank-8 enumeration or a witness, I will report the exact scope and credit this reduction.
