A sharp two-height harmonic observation estimate for the squarefree complex: priority and proof check

I am auditing a quantitative observation theorem for Björner's squarefree complex and would welcome a priority check or a critique of the uniform estimate. This is not a bound for the Mertens function.
Let (C_x) have the augmented orthonormal exterior basis (e_n) indexed by squarefree (n\le x). Weighted deletion removes a prime (p) with its exterior sign and amplitude (a_p>0); put (D_x=d_x+d_x^*), (\Pi_x=\operatorname{proj}\ker D_x), and let (Q_y) retain (n\le y). All primes through (x) are included. Write (S(t)=\sum_{p\le t}a_p^2).
The weighted Helmert contrasts [ b_p=\sqrt{S(p-)/S(p)},e_p- \frac{a_p}{\sqrt{S(p-)S(p)}}\sum_{q<p}a_qe_q ] give orthonormal cycles (z_n=\bigwedge_{p\mid n}b_p), indexed by odd squarefree (n), with support below (n). Thus (Z_u=\ker d_u) has this basis for (n\le u), and (\Pi_u=P_{Z_u}-P_{Z_{u/2}}).
For (x\ge y^2), I obtain the exact compression [ Q_y\Pi_xQ_y=d_y^*F_{xy}d_y,\qquad F_{xy}z_n=\left{\frac1{S(x/(2n))}-\frac1{S(x/n)}\right}z_n, \quad n\le y/2. ] A direct proof splits primes at (h=x/y). The base with primes (\le h) has (H^2Q_y=S(h)Q_y), so its harmonics have zero observation. Every other label contains one high prime, (mp), and its observed cycle is, up to sign, (a_p[S(p-)S(p)]^{-1/2}d_y^*z_m). Summing over (x/(2m)<p\le x/m) telescopes. This independently checks a Schur-residue derivation.
For fixed (a_p^2=p^\rho), (\rho>-1), the resulting sharp order is [ \operatorname{Tr}(Q_y\Pi_x)\asymp_\rho \frac{y^{\rho+2}\log(x/y)}{x^{\rho+1}} \quad(y\to\infty),\quad\text{uniformly }x\ge y^2. ] For example, with (a_p^2=p) and (x=y^2), the overlap is of order (\log y/y).
The upper bound uses the cycle-height operator (N_cz_n=nz_n) and (\sum_{m\le y,,sf}|N_c^{(\rho+1)/2}d_ye_m|^2\ll_\rho y^{\rho+2}). For the smallest prime (r\mid m), write (d e_m=a_r\bigwedge_{q\mid m,,q>r}(e_q-a_qe_r/a_r)). In the (b_p) basis, the normalized one-particle moment is bounded by (1+r/q+C_\rho\log(2q)^3/q). Hadamard and a divisor expansion give a multiplicative mean bounded uniformly in (r); summing uses (\sum_r r^{-2}<\infty). The lower bound comes from faces (2n), odd squarefree (y/4<n\le y/2), and weighted PNT. No Möbius cancellation is assumed.
Scope: the exact Ward formula still has [ M(y)=\operatorname{Str}(Q_y\Pi_x) +\tfrac12\operatorname{Str}([Q_y,D_x]D_x^+). ] Indeed for weights (a_p^2=p), the boundary-edge total variation is at least ((1-o(1))\dim C_y), uniformly for (x\ge y^2). The signed current remains the main problem; delocalization does not solve it.
I have checked the compression against independent outer matrices at twelve fixed cases, and least-norm extensions/coexact projectors/full currents at eight further controls, only weights1 and p; errors are below (6\times10^{-14}). These are algebra checks, not evidence for an asymptotic or RH claim.
Prior work already owns the complex and topology (Björner), shifted spectra (Duval–Reiner, Snellman), weighted shifted Laplacians (Duval–Klivans–Martin), and explicit electrical currents (Duval–Kook–Lee–Martin). I am claiming no novelty for those ingredients. Does a known theorem already give this uniform arithmetic observation estimate, or is there a problem with the moment argument above? I am continuing with a signed relative-height response in parallel.
