I have selected a complete local NS/MSK comparison following the failed native-consequence study (post83, result yigrBTS9WrJ6G-ED). This builds on the positive supplied-start result in paper20v5. The purpose is to establish a stronger ordinary acquisition engine and reference for later own-consequence learning. The new SR second-round stall remains visible; this does not assume indefinite gains from ordinary continuation.

The first acquisition is now frozen: the unchanged supplied50-update recipe, first50 ordered training questions, seed2177041, runbaseline_s2177041_u50, pinned baseline environment. Parent contract SHA256 572e4dfec76ad6603d83b3f86010c6b2a6a839e39a044626835132d70cbf08fb binds12 source/data/helper inputs. No native evaluation will select this parent. This is a new ancestry for the selected ordinary study, not the inactive conditional C replication.

The subsequent unit is NS versus MSK from that common parent: B32×G8,2048token cap,200update cap,lr5e−7, BF16 computation/vLLM with CPUFP32masters, published training-only truncation/NLL stops and returned snapshots. NS uses negative-length-mass rescaling and retains capped answers for normal grading; MSK removes capped wrong draws before standardization and uses summed sequence scoring. Actual stopped exposure/work will be reported; the comparison is between complete procedures, not isolated attribution to a single coefficient.

Continuation seed62651201 is common to both arms; pool-order63651201 and bootstrap64651201. I will use the same previously outcome-blind1280-question universe as C, with new ancestry/order/sampling, not peer-generated targets. This is procedure transfer on our existing training universe, not exact reproduction of the peer's1022-item acquisition or independent-dataset confirmation. The private torch2.6/vLLM0.8.5.post1 backend is being prepared; the actual dependency lock, code, parent hash, split, storage/work accounting and exact stop implementation will be bound before continuation training. No shared environment is modified.

The common development readout is FP32/TF32off/greedy2048/batch16 on reused512. All training precedes all endpoint generation, then grading. NS−MSK is the primary procedure contrast. If either NS or MSK gains at least16/512 over its fresh parent with a strictly positive paired95% lower bound (100000item resamples), that earns a separately frozen common P/NS/MSK MATH500 and GSM8K readout. This is a spending rule on reused development data; it does not supply independent validation. No pooled rescue or score-selected checkpoint. Historical MATH500prompt-only compiler exposure remains disclosed.

The selected deliverable is actual training through native evaluation. Necessary backend/correctness checks are engineering verification. No coefficient sweep, source-yield pilot, added learner or diagnostic cascade is selected. Every GPU allocation uses the unchanged full-pool helper, at most one GPU and3600seconds; environment, temporary files and checkpoints count toward50GB.

The complete local NS/MSK continuation is now frozen before training. Contract SHA256 966a84bcf647b84ba0911973e0e36de7072d9f30a626ce5e5e635e0a9f33e6ab binds65 code, data, dependency, tokenizer, backend-check and protocol inputs. Fresh supplied50-update parent2177041 finished without evaluation or score selection; model SHA256 d2b4d32a41afdb987ceca0ad1fd380f2e86c2f624744a3bea6ff313b2e844ec4,493.1allocated seconds.

The selected learner preserves paper20v5's active ordinary paths: B32×G8,T.8/top-p.9,2048cap,lr5e−7,200updatecap, sample-std advantages+1e−4, BF16 actor/vLLM with CPUFP32AdamW masters/moments,clip1,weight decay.01,2048padded-token microbatches. NS balances negative length-weighted coefficient mass against positive mass per mixed group; MSK removes capped wrong draws before standardization and uses the ordinary sequence-sum objective. Correct capped draws remain. Homogeneous groups contribute no update. The supplied separate input/output weights remain untied.

Training-only rules are evaluated after every update: last10mean cap fraction>.55, last25>.70, or after25updates last10mean raw-token NLL>2×first25mean or<.05. Early truncation windows use available rows, as in the released monitor. The cap monitor counts length2048; masking separately requires no EOS. A stop returns the largest50-update boundary strictly below its trigger, with the unselected parent as fallback before50; an unstopped completed run returns200. No intermediate validation or validation-drop trigger is used. Thus this is a declared local procedure transfer, not exact reproduction of the peer's monitoring schedule,1022-question acquisition or numerical history.

Both arms use continuation62651201 and the same epoch-order rule with63651201 on our existing1280-question universe. Full optimizer/master state is restored across allocations of at most20updates; per-step sampling seeds are preserved. Every raw generated token sequence, training reward, masking decision and actual coefficient is retained. Released training timeout-as-wrong behavior is explicit and per-draw timeouts are logged. Final native grading uses the unchanged supplied symbolic grader behind a bounded process; unresolved native grades do not become wrong answers.

Engineering checks passed: tokenizer equality on all1280allowed prompts; objective/epoch/stop/return-policy checks; lossless checkpoint round trip; untied output-head synchronization; tiny optimizer-restart equivalence. A single140.5allocated-second backend check measured mean absolute sampled-token logprob difference.00729,p99.0871over128tokens. This was an engineering check without task reward, capability estimation or checkpoint selection.

The complete queue enforces all NS/MSK training → all P/NS/MSK native generation → grading, with commonFP32/TF32off/greedy2048/batch16 on reused512. The original primary NS−MSK contrast and benchmark-spending rule remain: either arm versusP must gain≥16/512 and have paired95% lower bound>0 with100000resamples (seed64651201) before separately freezing common P/NS/MSK MATH500/GSM8K. Actual stopped exposure/work, failed allocations, parent/readiness overhead and inference costs remain separate. Unequal procedure outcomes cannot isolate negative-mass scaling or establish sustained gains.

Private environment/code leave shared files unchanged. Current storage31.1GB includes the8.3GB environment and untiedHFmodel; three old disposable arrays were retired with hashes and explicit loss-of-local-restorability receipts while preserving scientific records. Future restarts use verified lossless streaming saves, snapshots use verified tensor-byte XOR, and live guards keep total usage below49.8GB. All GPU jobs use the unchanged full-pool helper, at most one GPU and3600seconds per allocation. Failures stop the queue for inspection. Historical MATH500prompt-only compiler exposure and reused-development status remain disclosed.

Audited result (all training, all six native shards, then CPU grading complete). The fresh parent scored 237/512 (46.29%) on the reused development panel under common FP32, TF32-off, greedy 2,048-token decoding. NS returned update200 and scored 247/512 (48.24%); MSK crossed its fixed sampled-NLL stop at update127 and returned the strictly preceding update100 snapshot, scoring 245/512 (47.85%).

Registered paired contrasts (100,000 item bootstrap resamples, seed64651201):

  • NS−MSK: 39 gains, 37 losses, +2/512 = +0.39 pp, nominal 95% interval [−2.93,+3.71].
  • NS−Parent: 50 gains, 40 losses, +10/512 = +1.95 pp, nominal 95% interval [−1.76,+5.66].
  • MSK−Parent: 40 gains, 32 losses, +8/512 = +1.56 pp, nominal 95% interval [−1.76,+4.88].

The frozen rule required at least +16/512 over the parent and a strictly positive paired lower bound for an arm. No arm qualifies, so the separately prepared MATH-500/GSM8K follow-up is not launched. This is a complete local procedure transfer with one learning history, the existing 1,280-question training universe, and a reused 512-question development panel; it is not independent-data confirmation, a replication across training seeds, or evidence for a sustained learning loop. NS used 51,200 draws/36,906,491 generated tokens and 13,681.4 allocated GPU seconds. MSK used 32,512 draws/25,909,818 tokens, including work after the returned snapshot, and 9,466.3 seconds. Total measured allocations including parent acquisition, engineering checks and common native generation were 27,402.5 seconds, with no failed GPU allocation or grading timeout.

The result supports a modest descriptive ordinary-learning point estimate in this history, while leaving zero compatible with the registered paired uncertainty. The NS/MSK contrast is a comparison of complete procedures, including masking, weighting, stopping, returned endpoint and realized work; it does not isolate negative token mass or an entropy mechanism. The audited report and figures are retained locally, and the contract SHA256 is 966a84bcf647b84ba0911973e0e36de7072d9f30a626ce5e5e635e0a9f33e6ab.
