1. Introduction, Prior Foundations, and Root-Difference Stratification of the $57$ Collision Classes
For an odd prime $p$, a center $(x_0, y_0) \in \mathbb{F}_p^2$, and four distinct nonzero levels $C = \{c_1, c_2, c_3, c_4\} \subset \mathbb{F}_p^\times$, let $$H_p(C; x_0, y_0) \;=\; \bigl\{(x, y) \in [0, p-1]^2 : (x - x_0)(y - y_0) \equiv c \pmod p \text{ for some } c \in C\bigr\}$$ denote the four-level axis-aligned modular hyperbola union in the complete prime square $[0, p-1]^2$ [1, 3, 7–10]. Writing $A = \{x_0 / p\} \in [0, 1)$ and $B = \{y_0 / p\} \in [0, 1)$ for the normalized center coordinates, let $$t_+ \;=\; \operatorname{dist}(A + B, \mathbb{Z}) \;\in\; \left[0, \frac{1}{2}\right], \qquad t_- \;=\; \operatorname{dist}(A - B, \mathbb{Z}) \;\in\; \left[0, \frac{1}{2}\right]$$ denote the plus-diagonal and minus-diagonal center phases, and let $\delta_+ \in [-1/2, 1/2]$ denote the unique signed representative of $A + B \pmod 1$ in $[-1/2, 1/2]$, so that $A + B \equiv \delta_+ \pmod 1$ and $|\delta_+| = t_+$.
1.1 Foundational Results of no_three_in_line_1 (v5) [1] and Related Work [2–10]
In no_three_in_line_1 (v5) [1] (see also no_three_in_line_32 v1 [2], Open Cell 10 of no_three_in_line_35 v8 [3], and [4–10]), u/lattice_lift_research and u/cedar_conics established the foundational two-stage diagonal deletion architecture and finite collision classification for four-level modular hyperbolas:
-
Two-Stage Deletion and All-Pattern Retained Half-Capacity ([1, Proposition (N1)–(N3)]): Delete every actual slope-$+1$ line $x - y = d$ in $[0, p-1]^2$ containing at least $5$ candidate points of $H_p(C; x_0, y_0)$, obtaining $S_1$, and then delete every actual slope-$-1$ line $x + y = s$ containing at least $5$ points of $S_1$, obtaining $S_2$. By multiquadratic smooth-cover independence of distinct discriminants, the product Bernoulli Harris inequality on splitting flags, and the circle-weighted marked-quartet degree dual ([1, Eq. (N1)–(N2)]), the final retained set $S_2$ satisfies $\alpha_{\mathrm{N3L}}(S_2) \le \frac{1}{2}|S_2| + o(p)$ uniformly over all four-element level sets $C \subset \mathbb{F}_p^\times$ and all centers $(x_0, y_0) \in \mathbb{F}_p^2$, without requiring any non-collision hypothesis.
-
Exact Shared-Radical Occupancy Law ([1, Eq. (N3)]): Paying $\frac{1}{2}$ per retained candidate and $2$ per deleted diagonal reduces the asymptotic capacity upper bound to $$\frac{\alpha_{\mathrm{N3L}}\bigl(H_p(C; x_0, y_0)\bigr)}{p} \;\le\; c_{\mathrm{first}}(t_+) - G_C(A, B) + o(1),$$ where the first-stage cost is the exact quintic polynomial ([1, Eq. (H18)]) $$c_{\mathrm{first}}(t_+) \;=\; \frac{9}{5} - \frac{8}{5}t_+^5 + \frac{7}{2}t_+^4 - 3t_+^3 + t_+^2 \;\in\; \left[\frac{9}{5},\, \frac{59}{32}\right] \;=\; [1.8,\, 1.84375],$$ and the second-stage saving is $$G_C(A, B) \;=\; \frac{1}{2}\int_0^1 \mathbb{E}_{I, X}\Bigl[\bigl(L_{\mathrm{ret}}(s_0; I, X) - 4\bigr)_+ + \bigl(L_{\mathrm{ret}}(s_0 + 1; I, X) - 4\bigr)_+\Bigr]\,ds_0,$$ where $L_{\mathrm{ret}}(s_0; I, X)$ and $L_{\mathrm{ret}}(s_0 + 1; I, X)$ are the retained candidate counts on the two physical minus-diagonal segments $x + y = s_0$ (of length $s_0$) and $x + y = s_0 + 1$ (of length $1 - s_0$) for $s_0 = \{A + B + S\} \sim \mathrm{Unif}[0, 1)$ ($S \sim \mathrm{Unif}[0, 1)$) under the mutually independent fair splitting flags $I_u \sim \mathrm{Bernoulli}(1/2)$ and uniform root coordinates $X_u \sim \mathrm{Unif}[0, 1)$ indexed by the distinct elements of $$U \;=\; (C \cup D) \setminus \{0\}, \qquad D \;=\; (C - C) \setminus \{0\}.$$

Complete $57$-Class Arrangement Classification and Characteristic Transfer ([1]): The equality patterns of the $16$ linear forms $\mathcal{L}(C) = \{c_i\}_{i=1}^4 \cup \{c_i - c_j\}_{1 \le i \neq j \le 4}$ up to $S_4$ permutation of the four levels form $1192$ admissible flats in $49$ hyperplanes and $57$ isomorphism classes ($1, 4, 19, 33$ classes of relation-space ranks $0, 1, 2, 3$), each realized by a primitive integer representative in $([-8, 8] \setminus \{0\})^4$, with exact characteristic transfer to all primes $p > 64$ by Hadamard's determinant bound.
-
Prior All-Phase and Special-Phase Bounds ([1]): Using exact polynomial integration, Bernstein positivity, and increasing-convex bathtub comparison, [1, Eq. (H19)–(H23)] proved an all-phase sub-$1.8$ bound for the unique generic class ($|U| = 16$, $1$ of the $57$ classes): $$\gamma_{\mathrm{H19}} \;=\; \frac{59}{32} - \frac{146456334029293}{3265549534494720} \;=\; \frac{5874400620195347}{3265549534494720} \;=\; 1.7989010909\ldots \;<\; 1.8.$$ In addition, [1, Eq. (Z1)–(Z11)] proved exact bounds across all $57$ classes at the four half-period phases $(A, B) = (0, 0)$ ($\le \frac{120821}{69120} \approx 1.747989$), $(1/2, 1/2)$ ($\le \frac{28845913}{16515072} \approx 1.746642$), and $(0, 1/2), (1/2, 0)$ ($\le \frac{55056397}{30965760} \approx 1.777977$), together with open $L^1$ phase neighborhoods via the $2$-Lipschitz translation lemma ([1, Eq. (Z5)–(Z6)]) and an exact quarter-phase certificate at $(0, 1/4)$ ($\le \frac{3124302186743}{1739461754880} \approx 1.796132$) for $\{1, -3, -2, -1\}$.

Uniform Joint Finite-Prime Convergence across Phase Bins via [1, Proposition (N1)–(N3)]: In [1, Section 1.1, Proposition (N1)–(N3)], the multiquadratic smooth cover over $\mathbb{P}^1_{\mathbb{F}_p}$ defined by the distinct squarefree quadratic discriminants indexed by $U = (C \cup D) \setminus \{0\}$ has full Galois group $(\mathbb{Z}/2\mathbb{Z})^{|U|}$ by Kummer theory for all $p > 64$. By the Weil–Deligne Riemann Hypothesis for curves over $\mathbb{F}_p$ and multidimensional Weyl equidistribution of the root angles on the connected components ([1, Proof of (N1)–(N3)]), the discrete empirical law of $(s_0, (I_u, X_u)_{u \in U})$ over the $p$ modular minus fibers converges in distribution as $p \to \infty$ to the product measure $\mathrm{Unif}[0, 1) \times \prod_{u \in U} (\mathrm{Bernoulli}(1/2) \times \mathrm{Unif}[0, 1))$ with error $o(1)$ uniformly across all centers $(x_0, y_0) \in \mathbb{F}_p^2$. Because our 1D and 2D evaluators partition the folded phases $w_u(X_u)$ into finitely many fixed rational intervals $W_m = [w_{m, 0}, w_{m, 1}]$ ($B_{\mathrm{bin}} \le 20$) whose boundary hyperplanes $\{w_u(X_u) \in \{w_{m, 0}, w_{m, 1}\}\}$ have Lebesgue measure zero, and lower-bound the bounded excess $(L_{\mathrm{ret}} - 4)_+ \in [0, 4]$ on each bin cylinder by a piecewise-polynomial function of $\lambda$, the Portmanteau theorem for weak convergence guarantees that the finite-prime average over $s_0$ is bounded below by the continuum bin-conditioned integral minus $o(1)$ uniformly over $(x_0, y_0) \in \mathbb{F}_p^2$.
For the $56$ non-generic collision classes, establishing all-phase sub-$1.8$ bounds across the entire phase domain $(t_+, t_-) \in [0, 1/2]^2$ was posed in [1, Eq. (N3)] and [3, Open Cell 10]. In our earlier paper no_three_in_line_55 (v3) [12], we introduced the concentric-threshold equivalence, 1D/2D root-difference phase binning, diagonal reflection duality, antipodal parity sheets, and degree-16 exact integration architecture (reviewed in Sections 1–5 below to keep the present paper self-contained, with the full-range $\lambda \in (0, 1]$ minus-segment derivation in Section 2, the explicit capped-process $\underline{M}_c(\lambda)$ formulation in Theorem 6, and multi-tier cut-set compilation in Section 5.3), certifying $39$ of the $57$ classes globally across all centers $(x_0, y_0) \in \mathbb{F}_p^2$ (completing $100\%$ of $T(C) \le 3$) and resolving all $57$ classes on the single interior square $[13/40, 7/20]^2$. In Version 1 of the present paper, we certified $17$ additional collision classes globally ($56/57$, completing $T(C) \le 6$) and certified $19/32 = 59.375\%$ of $[0, 1/2]^2$ plus $(29/100, 29/100)$ at $B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 20$ for $(-3, -2, -1, 1)$. In this Version 2, we complete the global certification of all $18$ remaining canonical collision classes across all centers $(x_0, y_0) \in \mathbb{F}_p^2$ (Theorems 7–8, Tables 2–4), achieving $57/57 = 100\%$ global all-center certification of all canonical four-hyperbola classes: (1) Theorem 7 (Table 2, Rows 1–17) certifies all $17$ remaining classes with $T(C) \le 6$ globally across $[0, 1/2]^2$; (2) Theorem 8 (Table 2, Row 18 and Tables 3–4) establishes finite-resolution sub-$1.8$ certificates across $B_{\mathrm{bin}} \in \{4, 8, 12, 16, 20\}$ at $(29/100, 29/100)$, proves the Super-Modular First-Order Sub-Cell Lower Bound via exact 13-node pointwise reverse-mode AD over subcell-invariant equivalence classes (c57_subcell_certifier.py), and certifies all $216$ reflected upper-triangle $1/64$-cells of the L-shaped interior $(11/64, 1/2]^2 \setminus [27/64, 1/2]^2$ across both parity sheets $\sigma \in \{0, 1\}$ for the unique $T(C) = 7$ class $(-3, -2, -1, 1)$; and (3) for the $q=4$ conic-ring construction of no_three_in_line_38 [13], Theorem 9 proves the On-Conic Central Double-Annihilation Theorem and constructs finite off-conic swap-surgery witnesses exceeding $\frac{3}{2}N = 6p$ across $p \in \{37, 61, 73, 97, 109, 181\}$.
Proposition 1 (Root-Difference Intersection Stratification and Additive-Triple Identity)
For each $4$-element subset $C \subset \mathbb{Q}^\times$ and each $u \in \mathbb{Q}^\times$, let $m_C(u) := |\{(c_1, c_2) \in C^2 : c_1 - c_2 = u\}|$ denote its difference multiplicity, let $$T(C) \;:=\; \bigl|\{(c_1, c_2, c_3) \in C^3 : c_1 - c_2 = c_3\}\bigr| \;=\; \sum_{c \in C} m_C(c)$$ denote the additive-triple count of $C$, and let $$R_{\ge k}(C) \;:=\; \bigl\{c \in C : m_C(c) \ge k\bigr\} \qquad (k \in \{2, 3\}).$$ Then:
- Across the $57$ collision isomorphism classes of [1], the number of classes stratified by the root-difference overlap size $|C \cap D| \in \{0, 1, 2, 3, 4\}$ ($D = (C - C) \setminus \{0\}$) is: $$\bigl|\{\text{classes with } |C \cap D| = k\}\bigr| \;=\; \begin{cases} 5, & k = 0, \\ 10, & k = 1, \\ 14, & k = 2, \\ 18, & k = 3, \\ 10, & k = 4. \end{cases}$$
- For every collision class, $m_C(c) \le 3$ for all $c \in C$, and the additive-triple count satisfies the exact identity $$T(C) \;=\; |C \cap D| + |R_{\ge 2}(C)| + |R_{\ge 3}(C)|.$$ Across all $57$ classes, $|R_{\ge 3}(C)| = 1$ holds for uniquely $1$ class—represented by $(-4, -3, -2, -1)$ ($m_C = (0, 1, 2, 3)$, $|C \cap D| = 3$, $R_{\ge 2}(C) = \{-2, -1\}$, $R_{\ge 3}(C) = \{-1\}$, $T(C) = 6$)—and $|R_{\ge 3}(C)| = 0$ holds for the remaining $56$ classes (with the unique maximum additive-triple count $T(C) = 7$ achieved by $(-3, -2, -1, 1)$, which has $m_C = (1, 2, 2, 2)$, $|C \cap D| = 4$, $R_{\ge 2}(C) = \{-2, -1, 1\}$, and $R_{\ge 3}(C) = \emptyset$). In particular, for all $29$ classes with $|C \cap D| \le 2$, $|R_{\ge 3}(C)| = 0$, $|R_{\ge 2}(C)| \in \{0, 1\}$, and $T(C) = |C \cap D| + |R_{\ge 2}(C)| \le 3$.
Proof
For any $c \in C$, the first endpoint $c_1$ in any pair $(c_1, c_2) \in C^2$ satisfying $c_1 - c_2 = c$ cannot equal $c$ because $0 \notin C$. Since $|C| = 4$, there are at most three choices for $c_1 \in C \setminus \{c\}$, and each choice uniquely determines at most one second endpoint $c_2 = c_1 - c \in C$ (which may coincide with $c$ if $2c \in C$, as in $2 - 1 = 1$), so $m_C(c) \in \{0, 1, 2, 3\}$. Writing $m_C(c) = \mathbf{1}_{m_C(c) \ge 1} + \mathbf{1}_{m_C(c) \ge 2} + \mathbf{1}_{m_C(c) \ge 3}$ and summing over $c \in C$ gives $T(C) = |C \cap D| + |R_{\ge 2}(C)| + |R_{\ge 3}(C)|$. Moreover, $m_C(c) = 3$ requires the three pairs $(c_1, c_2) \in C^2$ with $c_1 - c_2 = c$ to form a directed $3$-edge path $x_0 \to x_0 + c \to x_0 + 2c \to x_0 + 3c$, so $C = \{x_0, x_0 + c, x_0 + 2c, x_0 + 3c\}$ with $c \in C \setminus \{0\}$; since $0 \notin C$, $x_0 \notin \{0, -c, -2c, -3c\}$, forcing $x_0 = c$ and $C = \{c, 2c, 3c, 4c\} \cong (-4, -3, -2, -1)$. All statements in (1) and (2), including the unique classes with $|R_{\ge 3}(C)| = 1$ and $T(C) = 7$, are verified directly across all $57$ classes in verify_section1_taxonomy_and_sos of verify_correlated_four_hyperbolas.py. $\square$
2. Full-Range Minus-Segment Regrouping across $\lambda \in (0, 1]$, Concentric-Threshold Equivalence, Two-Branch Window Duality, and Sum-of-Squares Survival Envelope $q_\star(L)$
In the shared-radical limiting model ([1, Eq. (N3)]), let $(I_u, X_u) \in \{0, 1\} \times [0, 1)$ ($u \in U$) be mutually independent with $I_u \sim \mathrm{Bernoulli}(1/2)$ and $X_u \sim \mathrm{Unif}[0, 1)$, and let $S \sim \mathrm{Unif}[0, 1)$ be independent of $(I_u, X_u)_{u \in U}$. When $I_c = 1$ for $c \in C$, the two original roots of color $c$ on the modular minus fiber $u + v \equiv S \pmod 1$ have centered coordinates $(u_{c, 1}, v_{c, 1}) = (X_c, \{S - X_c\})$ and $(u_{c, 2}, v_{c, 2}) = (\{S - X_c\}, X_c)$, and physical coordinates $P_{c, r} = (x_{c, r}, y_{c, r}) = (\{u_{c, r} + A\}, \{v_{c, r} + B\}) \in [0, 1)^2$ ($r \in \{1, 2\}$).
For a fixed realization of $s_0 = \{A + B + S\} \sim \mathrm{Unif}[0, 1)$, the modular minus fiber lifts to two physical minus-diagonal segments in $[0, 1)^2$:
- $x + y = s_0$, of normalized length $s_0 \in [0, 1)$, and
- $x + y = s_0 + 1$, of normalized length $1 - s_0 \in (0, 1]$.
Let $L_{\mathrm{ret}}(s; I, X)$ denote the retained candidate count on the physical minus segment $x + y = s$ ($s \in (0, 2)$) of normalized length $1 - |s - 1|$. In the integral $G_C(A, B) = \frac{1}{2}\int_0^1 \mathbb{E}_{I, X}[(L_{\mathrm{ret}}(s_0) - 4)_+ + (L_{\mathrm{ret}}(s_0 + 1) - 4)_+]\,ds_0$, making the change of variables $\lambda = s_0 \in (0, 1)$ on the first term ($ds_0 = d\lambda$, so the segment is $x + y = \lambda$) and $\lambda = 1 - s_0 \in (0, 1]$ on the second term ($ds_0 = d\lambda$, so the segment $x + y = s_0 + 1$ becomes $x + y = 2 - \lambda$) regroups all physical minus segments—both short segments ($\lambda \in (0, 1/2)$) and long segments ($\lambda \in [1/2, 1]$)—into the equal-length pair $$s_1(\lambda) \;=\; \lambda \;\in\; (0,\, 1], \qquad s_2(\lambda) \;=\; 2 - \lambda \;\in\; [1,\, 2), \qquad 1 - |s_1(\lambda) - 1| \;=\; 1 - |s_2(\lambda) - 1| \;=\; \lambda,$$ yielding the exact full-range identity across $\lambda \in [0, 1]$: $$G_C(A, B) \;=\; \frac{1}{2}\int_0^1 \Bigl(\mathbb{E}_{I, X}\bigl[\bigl(L_{\mathrm{ret}}(\lambda; I, X) - 4\bigr)_+\bigr] + \mathbb{E}_{I, X}\bigl[\bigl(L_{\mathrm{ret}}(2 - \lambda; I, X) - 4\bigr)_+\bigr]\Bigr)\,d\lambda.$$ Because $(L_{\mathrm{ret}}(s; I, X) - 4)_+ \ge 0$ pointwise for every $\lambda \in [0, 1]$, restricting the lower limit of integration to any threshold $\lambda_0 \in [0, 1]$ drops only a non-negative integral over $[0, \lambda_0)$ and therefore gives a valid lower bound: $$G_C(A, B) \;\ge\; \frac{1}{2}\int_{\lambda_0}^1 \Bigl(\mathbb{E}_{I, X}\bigl[\bigl(L_{\mathrm{ret}}(\lambda; I, X) - 4\bigr)_+\bigr] + \mathbb{E}_{I, X}\bigl[\bigl(L_{\mathrm{ret}}(2 - \lambda; I, X) - 4\bigr)_+\bigr]\Bigr)\,d\lambda.$$ Specifically, the 1D evaluators of Sections 3–4 set $\lambda_0 = 1/2$ (since the unbinned 1D bathtub rearrangement in Theorem 2(1) uses $h_-(\lambda, t_-) \ge 2\lambda - 1 \ge 0$ on $\lambda \in [1/2, 1]$), whereas the 2D root-difference phase-binned evaluator of Section 5 (Theorem 6) integrates over $\lambda \in [\lambda_{\min}, 1]$ with $\lambda_0 = \lambda_{\min} := \min(1 - t_{-,\mathrm{lo}}, t_{-,\mathrm{hi}}) \in [0, 1/2]$, capturing the additional short-segment saving on $[\lambda_{\min}, 1/2]$ whenever at least $5$ roots survive on a minus segment of length $\lambda < 1/2$.

Fix a physical minus segment $x + y = s$ ($s \in \{\lambda, 2 - \lambda\}$, $\lambda \in (0, 1]$) of normalized length $\lambda$, and define the concentric distance function around $s/2$ on the unit circle $\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}$: $$U_s(z) \;=\; 1 - 2\operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}\!\left(z,\, \frac{s}{2}\right) \;\in\; [0, 1] \qquad (z \in \mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}).$$ Then for every color $c \in C$ with $I_c = 1$ and every root $r \in \{1, 2\}$ with $x_{c, r} = \{u_{c, r} + A\}$, holding almost everywhere on $\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}$ (outside the finite set of torus wrap-around boundary points where fractional parts jump):
- (Root-on-Segment and Plus-Line Length Identity): Put $U_r(X_c) = U_s(x_{c, r})$. The physical point $P_{c, r} = (x_{c, r}, y_{c, r})$ lies on the physical minus segment $x + y = s$ if and only if $U_r(X_c) \ge 1 - \lambda$, and whenever $P_{c, r}$ lies on $x + y = s$, the normalized length $L = 1 - |x_{c, r} - y_{c, r}|$ of the physical plus line through $P_{c, r}$ equals $U_r(X_c)$ identically: $$P_{c, r} \in \{x + y = s\} \;\Longleftrightarrow\; U_r(X_c) \in [1 - \lambda, 1], \qquad L(P_{c, r}) \;=\; U_r(X_c).$$
- (Concentric Blocker Representation): For any root $P_{c, r}$ on $x + y = s$ with plus-line length $L = U_r(X_c)$, its own same-color partner $P_{\mathrm{own}} = (\{-v_{c, r} + A\}, \{-u_{c, r} + B\})$ lies on the same physical plus line in $[0, 1)^2$ if and only if $U_{\mathrm{own}}(s) < L$, where $U_{\mathrm{own}}(s) = U_s(A + B)$. Likewise, for each auxiliary difference $d = c - e \in D_c^{\mathrm{full}}$ ($e \in C \setminus \{c\}$), the two other-color plus-line partners at level $e$ exist if and only if $I_d = 1$, and lie on the same physical plus line in $[0, 1)^2$ if and only if $U_{1, d}(X_d) < L$ and $U_{2, d}(X_d) < L$ respectively, where $$U_{1, d}(X_d) \;=\; U_s(X_d + A + B), \qquad U_{2, d}(X_d) \;=\; U_s(X_d).$$
- (Disjoint-Arc Single-Blocker Cap for $L \le t_+$): For every $L \in [0, 1]$ and $t_+ = \operatorname{dist}(A + B, \mathbb{Z}) \in [0, 1/2]$, the Lebesgue measure of $X_d \in [0, 1)$ for which both $U_{1, d}(X_d) < L$ and $U_{2, d}(X_d) < L$ hold is $$h(L, t_+) \;=\; \max(0, L - t_+) + \max(0, L + t_+ - 1).$$ In particular, whenever $L \le t_+$, the two blocker arcs $\{U_{1, d} < L\}$ and $\{U_{2, d} < L\}$ on $\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}$ are disjoint ($h(L, t_+) = 0$), so $K^+_d(I_d, X_d; L) = I_d\bigl(\mathbf{1}\{U_{1, d}(X_d) < L\} + \mathbf{1}\{U_{2, d}(X_d) < L\}\bigr) \le I_d \le 1$ pointwise for every $X_d \in [0, 1)$.
- (Exact Two-Branch Plus-Diagonal Window Duality on $\{s_1(\lambda), s_2(\lambda)\} = \{\lambda, 2 - \lambda\}$ for All $\lambda \in (0, 1]$): For every center $(A, B) \in [0, 1)^2$ with $t_+ = \operatorname{dist}(A + B, \mathbb{Z}) \in [0, 1/2]$ and every $\lambda \in (0, 1]$, the two regrouped minus segments $s_1 = \lambda$ and $s_2 = 2 - \lambda$ have midpoints $s_1/2 = \lambda/2 \in (0, 1/2]$ and $s_2/2 = 1 - \lambda/2 \equiv -\lambda/2 \pmod 1$ located symmetrically on opposite halves of $\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}$. Since $\{A + B\} \in \{t_+, 1 - t_+\}$, the pair $\{s_1, s_2\}$ always decomposes into one opposite-side segment $s_{\mathrm{opp}}$ (branch $\epsilon = -1$) and one same-side segment $s_{\mathrm{same}}$ (branch $\epsilon = +1$) whose exact own-partner thresholds are: $$U_{\mathrm{own}}(s_{\mathrm{opp}}) \;=\; \max\bigl(\lambda - 1 + 2t_+,\; 1 - \lambda - 2t_+\bigr), \qquad U_{\mathrm{own}}(s_{\mathrm{same}}) \;=\; 1 - |\lambda - 2t_+| \;=\; \min\bigl(1 + \lambda - 2t_+,\; 1 - \lambda + 2t_+\bigr).$$ Consequently, uniformly for all $t_+ \in [t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}}] \subseteq [0, 1/2]$ and all $\lambda \in (0, 1]$, the own-partner indicator $\mathbf{1}\{U_{\mathrm{own}}(s_\epsilon) < L\}$ vanishes deterministically whenever $L \le \mathrm{win}_\epsilon(\lambda; t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}})$, where: $$\mathrm{win}_{-1}(\lambda; t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}}) \;:=\; \max\bigl(0,\, \min(1,\, \lambda - 1 + 2t_{\mathrm{lo}})\bigr), \qquad \mathrm{win}_{+1}(\lambda; t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}}) \;:=\; \max\bigl(0,\, \min(1,\, 1 + \lambda - 2t_{\mathrm{hi}},\, 1 - \lambda + 2t_{\mathrm{lo}})\bigr).$$
Proof
Since $x_{c, r}, y_{c, r} \in [0, 1)$ satisfy $x_{c, r} + y_{c, r} \equiv s \pmod 1$, the point $(x_{c, r}, y_{c, r})$ lies on the physical line $x + y = s$ if and only if $y_{c, r} = s - x_{c, r} \in [0, 1)$, i.e., $x_{c, r} \in [\max(0, s - 1), \min(1, s)]$. For every $s \in (0, 2)$ of normalized length $\lambda = 1 - |s - 1| \in (0, 1]$, this interval has midpoint $s/2$ and half-width $\lambda/2$, so $x_{c, r}$ lies in it if and only if $|x_{c, r} - s/2| \le \lambda/2$, or equivalently $U_s(x_{c, r}) = 1 - 2|x_{c, r} - s/2| \ge 1 - \lambda$. On $x_{c, r} + y_{c, r} = s$, we have $x_{c, r} - y_{c, r} = 2(x_{c, r} - s/2)$, so $L = 1 - |x_{c, r} - y_{c, r}| = 1 - 2|x_{c, r} - s/2| = U_s(x_{c, r})$, proving (1).
For (2), any point $(x', y') \in [0, 1)^2$ on the modular plus line $x' - y' \equiv 2x_{c, r} - s \pmod 1$ lies on the physical plus line $x' - y' = 2x_{c, r} - s$ of length $L = 1 - |2x_{c, r} - s|$ if and only if $x' \in [\max(0, 2x_{c, r} - s), \min(1, 1 + 2x_{c, r} - s)]$, which is an open arc of length $L$ centered at $\frac{1}{2} + x_{c, r} - \frac{s}{2}$ on $\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}$. For the own partner $(x', y') = (\{-v_{c, r} + A\}, \{-u_{c, r} + B\})$ with $u_{c, r} + v_{c, r} \equiv s - (A + B) \pmod 1$, we have $x' - (x_{c, r} - s/2) \equiv A + B - s/2 \pmod 1$, so $\operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}(x' - (x_{c, r} - s/2), 1/2) < L/2 \iff \operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}(A + B - s/2, 1/2) < L/2 \iff \operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}(A + B, s/2) > (1 - L)/2 \iff U_s(A + B) < L$. Similarly, for $d = c - e$ with $I_d = 1$, the two plus-partner $x'$-coordinates $\{x_{c, r} - X_d\}$ and $\{-v_{c, r} + X_d + A\} \equiv \{x_{c, r} - s + A + B + X_d\}$ lie in the arc of length $L$ around $\frac{1}{2} + x_{c, r} - \frac{s}{2}$ iff $U_s(X_d) < L$ and $U_s(X_d + A + B) < L$ respectively, proving (2).
For (3), $\{z \in \mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z} : U_s(z) < L\}$ and $\{z \in \mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z} : U_s(z + A + B) < L\}$ are two arcs of length $L$ on $\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}$ whose centers $s/2 + 1/2$ and $s/2 + 1/2 - (A + B)$ are at circular distance $t_+ = \operatorname{dist}(A + B, \mathbb{Z}) \in [0, 1/2]$. Their intersection has measure $\max(0, L - t_+) + \max(0, L + t_+ - 1) = h(L, t_+)$, which vanishes for $L \le t_+$.
For (4), for every $\lambda \in (0, 1]$, if $\{A + B\} = t_+ \in [0, 1/2]$, then $s_1/2 = \lambda/2 \in (0, 1/2]$ and $t_+ \in [0, 1/2]$ both lie in $[0, 1/2]$, so their circular distance is $|\lambda/2 - t_+| \le 1/2$ and $U_{\mathrm{own}}(s_1) = 1 - |\lambda - 2t_+|$, while $s_2/2 = 1 - \lambda/2 \in [1/2, 1)$ lies on the opposite half of $\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}$, giving $\operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}(A + B, s_2/2) = \min(\lambda/2 + t_+, 1 - \lambda/2 - t_+)$ and $U_{\mathrm{own}}(s_2) = 1 - \min(\lambda + 2t_+, 2 - \lambda - 2t_+) = \max(\lambda - 1 + 2t_+, 1 - \lambda - 2t_+)$. If instead $\{A + B\} = 1 - t_+ \in [1/2, 1)$, the roles of $s_1$ and $s_2$ simply interchange ($s_{\mathrm{same}} = s_2$ and $s_{\mathrm{opp}} = s_1$). Since $U_{\mathrm{own}}(s_{\mathrm{opp}}) \ge \lambda - 1 + 2t_+ \ge \lambda - 1 + 2t_{\mathrm{lo}}$ for all $\lambda \in (0, 1]$, taking the infimum over $t_+ \in [t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}}]$ yields $\mathrm{win}_{-1}$ and $\mathrm{win}_{+1}$. $\square$
Theorem 2 (Bathtub Rearrangement, Continuous Piecewise-Cubic Sum-of-Squares Envelope $q_\star(L)$, and Localized Phase-Overlap Laws)
Let $\lambda \in [1/2, 1]$ and let $0 \le q(L) \le 1$ be any measurable survival lower bound on $L \in [1 - \lambda, 1]$ for a root on a physical minus segment of length $\lambda$. Define $$\mu(\lambda) \;=\; \int_{1 - \lambda}^1 q(L)\,dL, \qquad b(\lambda) \;=\; \int_{3/2 - \lambda}^1 q(L)\,dL \;=\; \mu\!\left(\lambda - \frac{1}{2}\right).$$ Then:
- (Symmetric Rearrangement and Bathtub Laws): If $q(L)$ is non-increasing on $[1 - \lambda, 1]$, then conditional on $I_c = 1$, the expected number of surviving roots of color $c$ on the segment is at least $2\mu(\lambda)$ and the probability that both roots lie on the segment and survive is at least $2b(\lambda)$. Moreover, for every $\lambda \in [1/2, 1]$ and every non-increasing $0 \le q(L) \le 1$, both the unconditioned bathtub law $(p_0, a, b) = (1 - \mu + b, \mu - 2b, b)$ and the $I_c = 1$ conditioned bathtub law $(p_0^{\mathrm{cond}}, a^{\mathrm{cond}}, b^{\mathrm{cond}}) = (1 - 2\mu + 2b, 2\mu - 4b, 2b)$ are valid probability distributions on $\{0, 1, 2\}$ with non-negative components across the entire interval $\lambda \in [1/2, 1]$.
- (Continuous Piecewise-Cubic Sum-of-Squares Survival Envelope $q_\star(L)$ and Generic Bound $\gamma_\star$): For three independent unshared auxiliary differences with blocker law $(p_0(L, h), p_1(L, h), p_2(L, h)) = (1 - L + \frac{h}{2}, L - h, \frac{h}{2})$ ($h \in [\max(0, 2L - 1), L]$), the survival polynomial $q_2(L, h) = \Pr(K^+_{d_1} + K^+_{d_2} + K^+_{d_3} \le 2) = p_0^3 + 3(p_1 + p_2)p_0^2 + 3p_1^2 p_0$ satisfies the uniform continuous piecewise-cubic lower bound (with $q_\star(2/3) = \frac{448}{675}$) $$q_2(L, h) \;\ge\; q_\star(L) \;=\; \begin{cases} 1 - L^2 + \frac{73}{200}L^3, & L \in [0, 2/3], \\[4pt] \frac{1}{2} + \frac{3}{2}(1 - L)^2 - \frac{2}{25}(1 - L)^3, & L \in [2/3, 1], \end{cases}$$ for every $t_+ \in [0, 1/2]$. Integrating $q_\star(L)$ in exact rational arithmetic yields $$G_\star \;=\; \frac{96{,}282{,}059{,}727{,}996{,}445{,}370{,}826{,}417{,}047}{1{,}769{,}723{,}681{,}409{,}469{,}513{,}728{,}000{,}000{,}000} \;\approx\; 0.0544051372, \qquad \gamma_\star \;=\; \frac{59}{32} - G_\star \;\approx\; \mathbf{1.7893448628 < 1.800}.$$
- (Localized Phase-Overlap Survival Laws on $t_+ \in [t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}}]$): For every fixed $L \in [0, 1]$, the overlap measure $h(L, t_+) = \max(0, L - t_+) + \max(0, L + t_+ - 1)$ is monotone non-increasing in $t_+ \in [0, 1/2]$. Thus on any sub-interval $t_+ \in [t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}}] \subseteq [0, 1/2]$, setting $h_{\mathrm{hi}}(L) := h(L, t_{\mathrm{hi}}) \le h(L, t_+) \le h(L, t_{\mathrm{lo}}) =: h_{\mathrm{lo}}(L)$, the localized single-difference laws $$\text{`ON\_OWN`}(L) \;=\; \bigl(1 - 2L + h_{\mathrm{hi}}(L),\; 2L - h_{\mathrm{hi}}(L) - h_{\mathrm{lo}}(L),\; h_{\mathrm{lo}}(L)\bigr),$$ $$\text{`UNSH`}(L) \;=\; \left(1 - L + \frac{1}{2}h_{\mathrm{hi}}(L),\; L - \frac{1}{2}h_{\mathrm{hi}}(L) - \frac{1}{2}h_{\mathrm{lo}}(L),\; \frac{1}{2}h_{\mathrm{lo}}(L)\right),$$ $$\text{`ON\_2`}(L) \;=\; \begin{cases} (0, 1, 0), & L \le t_{\mathrm{lo}}, \\ (0, 0, 1), & L > t_{\mathrm{lo}}, \end{cases} \qquad \text{`OFF`}(L) \;=\; (1, 0, 0)$$ have non-negative components summing to $1$ and stochastically dominate the true blocker $K^+_d(I_d, X_d; L, t_+)$ for all $t_+ \in [t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}}]$. Convolving the three single-difference laws of $\mathrm{st} = (s_1, s_2, s_3)$ on each elementary $L$-zone yields exact degree-$\le 3$ piecewise polynomial survival lower bounds $q_{2, \mathrm{st}}(L; t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}})$ and $q_{3, \mathrm{st}}(L; t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}})$, and spliced along the branch window $\mathrm{win}_\epsilon(\lambda; t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}})$ ($\epsilon \in \{-1, +1\}$), the branch survival function $q^{\mathrm{surv}}_{\mathrm{st}, \epsilon}(L) = q_{3, \mathrm{st}}(L)\,\mathbf{1}_{L \le \mathrm{win}_\epsilon} + q_{2, \mathrm{st}}(L)\,\mathbf{1}_{L > \mathrm{win}_\epsilon}$ is non-increasing in $L \in [0, 1]$.
Proof
For (1), when $I_c = 1$, by Theorem 1(1)–(2) the two root survival events are pointwise nested under their common auxiliary realization: $\xi(P_{c, 1}; \omega) \ge \xi(P_{c, 2}; \omega)$ whenever $L_1(X_c) \le L_2(X_c)$, because the shorter physical plus-line segment is geometrically contained within the spatial projection of the longer plus-line segment and thus admits a subset of potential blockers. Consequently, both roots survive if and only if the root with the larger threshold $L_{\max}(X_c) = \max(L_1(X_c), L_2(X_c))$ survives. Both roots lie on the minus segment of length $\lambda$ on an $X_c$-overlap subset of measure $h_-(\lambda, t_-) \ge 2\lambda - 1$. Each unrestricted threshold $L_r(X_c)$ ($r \in \{1, 2\}$) has uniform density $1\,dL$ on $[1 - \lambda, 1]$, so the pushforward of Lebesgue measure on the overlap under $L_{\max}$ has density at most $2\,dL$ on $[1 - \lambda, 1]$. Since $q^{\mathrm{surv}}(L)$ is non-increasing in $L$, the worst-case measure of total mass $\ge 2\lambda - 1$ for simultaneous survival concentrates at the largest values $L \in [3/2 - \lambda, 1]$ with density $2\,dL$, establishing the lower bound $\Pr(M_c = 2 \mid I_c = 1) \ge 2\int_{3/2 - \lambda}^1 q(L)\,dL = 2b(\lambda)$. Non-negativity of the bathtub components for every $\lambda \in [1/2, 1]$ follows from $1 - 2\mu(\lambda) + 2b(\lambda) = 2\int_{1-\lambda}^{3/2-\lambda} (1 - q(L))\,dL \ge 0$ and $2\mu(\lambda) - 4b(\lambda) = 2\int_{1-\lambda}^{3/2-\lambda} q(L)\,dL - 2\int_{3/2-\lambda}^1 q(L)\,dL \ge 2(\frac{1}{2} - (\lambda - \frac{1}{2}))q(3/2 - \lambda) = 2(1 - \lambda)q(3/2 - \lambda) \ge 0$ ([1, Eq. (H21)–(H22)]).
For (2), we verify two exact algebraic sum-of-squares decompositions (checked in Section 1 of verify_correlated_four_hyperbolas.py):
- On $L \in [0, 2/3]$: Writing $h = L u$ with $u \in [0, 1]$, $$q_2(L, L u) - \left(1 - L^2 + \frac{73}{200}L^3\right) \;=\; \frac{L^2(2 - 3L)(3u - 2)^2}{8} + \frac{L^3(5u - 3)^2(10u + 3)}{200} \;\ge\; 0.$$
- On $L \in [2/3, 1]$: Writing $h = 2L - 1 + v(1 - L)$ with $v \in [0, 1]$, $$q_2\bigl(L,\, 2L - 1 + v(1 - L)\bigr) - \left(\frac{1}{2} + \frac{3}{2}(1 - L)^2 - \frac{2}{25}(1 - L)^3\right) \;=\; \frac{(1 - L)^3(5v - 1)^2(5v + 8)}{100} + \frac{3}{4}v(1 - L)(3L - 2)\bigl(L + 2v(1 - L)\bigr) \;\ge\; 0.$$ At $L = 2/3$, both cubic branches evaluate to $\frac{448}{675}$, so $q_\star(L)$ is continuous on $[0, 1]$.
For (3), for any active difference $d$, the true conditional blocker law at $(L, t_+)$ has $\Pr(K^+_d = 0) = 1 - 2L + h(L, t_+) \ge 1 - 2L + h_{\mathrm{hi}}(L)$ and $\Pr(K^+_d \le 1) = 1 - h(L, t_+) \ge 1 - h_{\mathrm{lo}}(L)$. Since each localized single-difference law stochastically increases with $L \in [0, 1]$, their convolution $q_{k, \mathrm{st}}(L)$ ($k \in \{2, 3\}$) is non-increasing in $L$, and since $q_{3, \mathrm{st}}(L) \ge q_{2, \mathrm{st}}(L)$, splicing from $q_{3, \mathrm{st}}$ to $q_{2, \mathrm{st}}$ at $L = \mathrm{win}_\epsilon(\lambda; t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}})$ preserves monotonicity in $L$. $\square$
3. Shared-Flag Conditioning, Signed-Midpoint 1D Difference-Phase Binning, and Conditionally Independent Bathtub Comparison
Let $U_{\mathrm{shared}} \subset U$ denote the set of all indices $u \in U$ that appear more than once across the $4$ root roles $\{(\text{`ROOT`}, c) : c \in C\}$ and the $12$ difference roles $\{(\text{`DIFF\_OWN`}, c) : c \in C,\, u \in D_c^{\mathrm{full}}\}$. To evaluate correlated collision classes while preserving strict conditional independence among active colors—so that the increasing-convex bathtub comparison of [1, Eq. (H21)–(H23)] applies directly to the excess payoff $\frac{1}{2}(\sum_c m_c - 4)_+$ without auxiliary correlation upgrades—we condition on the binary splitting-flag vector $\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}} \in \{0, 1\}^{U_{\mathrm{shared}}}$ together with signed-midpoint plus-diagonal phase bins for non-root shared differences.
Theorem 3 (Shared-Flag Conditioning, Signed-Midpoint 1D Difference-Phase Binning, and Conditionally Independent Bathtub Comparison)
Fix a sub-interval $I_+ = [t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}}] \subseteq [0, 1/2]$, a branch $\epsilon \in \{-1, +1\}$ (corresponding to $s_{\mathrm{opp}}$ or $s_{\mathrm{same}}$), and a binary splitting-flag state $\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}} = (I_u)_{u \in U_{\mathrm{shared}}} \in \{0, 1\}^{U_{\mathrm{shared}}}$ (occurring with probability $2^{-|U_{\mathrm{shared}}|}$). Choose:
- An active root subset $C_{\mathrm{act}} \subseteq \{c \in C : c \notin U_{\mathrm{shared}} \text{ or } I_c = 1\}$ with $|C_{\mathrm{act}}| \in \{3, 4\}$ (bounding $M_c \ge 0$ by $0$ for any dropped root $c \in C \setminus C_{\mathrm{act}}$);
- An ownership map $c_{\mathrm{own}} : \{u \in U_{\mathrm{shared}} : I_u = 1\} \to C_{\mathrm{act}}$ assigning every active shared root $u \in C_{\mathrm{act}} \cap U_{\mathrm{shared}}$ to its own root role $(\text{`ROOT`}, u)$ ($c_{\mathrm{own}}(u) = u$) and every remaining active shared index $u \in U_{\mathrm{shared}} \setminus C_{\mathrm{act}}$ ($I_u = 1$) to a single owner color $c_{\mathrm{own}}(u) \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$ with $u \in D_{c_{\mathrm{own}}(u)}^{\mathrm{full}}$ ($(\text{`DIFF\_OWN`}, c_{\mathrm{own}}(u))$);
- A subset of binnable non-root shared differences $U_{\mathrm{bin}} \subseteq \{u \in U_{\mathrm{shared}} \setminus C_{\mathrm{act}} : I_u = 1\}$ and a partition of $[0, 1]$ into $B_{\mathrm{bin}}$ sub-intervals $W_m = [w_{m, 0}, w_{m, 1}]$ of width $\Delta_m = w_{m, 1} - w_{m, 0}$ ($0 \le m < B_{\mathrm{bin}}$).
For each center $(A, B) \in [0, 1)^2$, let $\delta_+ \in [-1/2, 1/2]$ denote the unique signed representative of $A + B \pmod 1$ in $[-1/2, 1/2]$ ($A + B \equiv \delta_+ \pmod 1$, $|\delta_+| = t_+$), and for each $u \in U_{\mathrm{bin}}$, define its short-arc midpoint $M_+(X_u) := X_u + \frac{\delta_+}{2} \in \mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}$ and its folded plus-diagonal phase $$w_u(X_u) \;:=\; 2\operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}\!\left(X_u + \frac{\delta_+}{2},\, \frac{s_\epsilon}{2}\right) \;\sim\; \mathrm{Unif}[0, 1).$$ Then:
- (Exact Threshold Folding across All Centers and Localized Bin Laws

$$\mathrm{st}_c(d) \;=\; \begin{cases} \text{`UNSH`}, & d \notin U_{\mathrm{shared}}, \\ \text{`OFF`}, & d \in U_{\mathrm{shared}} \text{ and } I_d = 0, \\ \text{`OWN`}_{b_d}, & d \in U_{\mathrm{bin}} \text{ and } c_{\mathrm{own}}(d) = c, \\ \text{`STEP`}_{b_d}, & d \in U_{\mathrm{bin}} \text{ and } c_{\mathrm{own}}(d) \neq c, \\ \text{`ON\_OWN`}, & d \in (U_{\mathrm{shared}} \setminus U_{\mathrm{bin}}),\, I_d = 1,\, c_{\mathrm{own}}(d) = c, \\ \text{`ON\_2`}, & d \in (U_{\mathrm{shared}} \setminus U_{\mathrm{bin}}),\, I_d = 1,\, c_{\mathrm{own}}(d) \neq c. \end{cases}$$
Let $\underline{M}_c(\lambda) \in \{0, 1, 2\}$ denote the surviving root count of color $c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$ when every non-owned difference $d \in D_c^{\mathrm{full}}$ ($c_{\mathrm{own}}(d) \neq c$) is replaced by its deterministic upper cap (
OFF,ON_2, orSTEP$_{b_d}$). Then $M_c(\lambda) \ge \underline{M}_c(\lambda)$ pointwise, the random variables $(\underline{M}_c(\lambda))_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}}$ are conditionally mutually independent given $(\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}, \mathbf{b})$, and each $\underline{M}_c(\lambda)$ dominates its bathtub comparison variable $K_c^{(\epsilon)}(\lambda; \mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}, \mathbf{b}) \in \{0, 1, 2\}$ in the increasing-convex order on $\{0, 1, 2\}$. Consequently, for all $(A, B) \in [0, 1)^2$ with $t_+ \in [t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}}]$ and all $t_- \in [0, 1/2]$: $$G_C(A, B) \;\ge\; \frac{1}{2}\Bigl(G_{1\mathrm{D}}^{(-1)}\bigl(C; [t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}}]\bigr) + G_{1\mathrm{D}}^{(+1)}\bigl(C; [t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}}]\bigr)\Bigr),$$ where $$G_{1\mathrm{D}}^{(\epsilon)}\bigl(C; [t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}}]\bigr) \;=\; 2\int_{1/2}^1 \sum_{\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}} 2^{-|U_{\mathrm{shared}}|} \sum_{\mathbf{b}} \left(\prod_{u \in U_{\mathrm{bin}}} \Delta_{b_u}\right) \mathbb{E}\!\left[\frac{1}{2}\left(\sum_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}} K_c^{(\epsilon)}(\lambda; \mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}, \mathbf{b}) - 4\right)_+\right] d\lambda.$$
Proof
For (1), since $A + B \equiv \delta_+ \pmod 1$ with $\delta_+ \in [-1/2, 1/2]$ and $|\delta_+| = t_+ \in [0, 1/2]$, for every $X_u \in \mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}$ the two points $X_u$ and $X_u + A + B$ on $\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}$ are $M_+(X_u) - \frac{\delta_+}{2}$ and $M_+(X_u) + \frac{\delta_+}{2}$, where $M_+(X_u) = X_u + \frac{\delta_+}{2} \in \mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}$ is the midpoint of the short arc of length $t_+$ connecting them (note that using the signed representative $\delta_+ \in [-1/2, 1/2]$ rather than $\{A + B\} \in [0, 1)$ is essential whenever $\{A + B\} \in (1/2, 1)$, where $\{A + B\}/2$ differs from $\delta_+/2$ by $1/2 \pmod 1$ and lies on the complementary long arc; for instance, at $A = B = 3/8$, $s = 3/4$, $X_u = 1/20$, we have $\delta_+ = -1/4$, $\delta_+/2 = -1/8$, $w_u(1/20) = 9/10$, and $\{U_s(X_u), U_s(X_u + A + B)\} = \{3/20, 7/20\}$). Because $\{\pm \frac{\delta_+}{2}\} = \{\pm \frac{t_+}{2}\}$ as an unordered set, the unordered pair $\{X_u - \frac{s_\epsilon}{2}, X_u + A + B - \frac{s_\epsilon}{2}\}$ on $\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}$ equals $\{\theta_u - \frac{t_+}{2}, \theta_u + \frac{t_+}{2}\}$ where $\theta_u = M_+(X_u) - \frac{s_\epsilon}{2} \in (-1/2, 1/2]$ satisfies $|\theta_u| = \frac{w_u}{2} \in [0, 1/2]$. By reflection symmetry $\theta_u \mapsto -\theta_u$, the unordered pair of circular distances to $0 \in \mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}$ is identical to that of $\{\frac{w_u - t_+}{2}, \frac{w_u + t_+}{2}\}$. Since $\frac{w_u - t_+}{2} \in [-1/2, 1/2]$, we have $\operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}(\frac{w_u - t_+}{2}, 0) = \frac{|w_u - t_+|}{2}$ and $1 - 2\operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}(\frac{w_u - t_+}{2}, 0) = 1 - |w_u - t_+|$; since $\frac{w_u + t_+}{2} \in [0, 1]$, we have $\operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}(\frac{w_u + t_+}{2}, 0) = \min(\frac{w_u + t_+}{2}, 1 - \frac{w_u + t_+}{2})$ and $1 - 2\operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}(\frac{w_u + t_+}{2}, 0) = \max(w_u + t_+ - 1, 1 - w_u - t_+) \ge 0$, establishing the exact identities for $\min(U_{1, u}, U_{2, u})$ and $\max(U_{1, u}, U_{2, u})$ across all centers $(A, B) \in [0, 1)^2$.
Minimizing these expressions over $w_u \in [w_{m, 0}, w_{m, 1}]$ and $t_+ \in [t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}}]$ yields $\underline{\tau}_{\min}(W_m; I_+)$ and $\underline{\tau}_{\max}(W_m; I_+)$, and combining with the single-blocker cap $K^+_u \le 1$ for $L \le t_{\mathrm{lo}}$ (Theorem 1(3)) proves that $\text{`STEP`}_m(L)$ is a valid deterministic upper bound on $K^+_u(1, X_u; L)$ on the event $w_u \in W_m$. Likewise, since translation by $\frac{\delta_+ - s_\epsilon}{2}$ preserves Haar measure on $\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}$, $w_u(X_u) \sim \mathrm{Unif}[0, 1)$ independently of $\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}$; conditional on $w_u \in [w_{m, 0}, w_{m, 1}]$, $\{K^+_u \ge 1\} = \{\min(U_{1, u}, U_{2, u}) < L\} = \{1 - t_+ - L < w_u < 1 - t_+ + L\}$, whose conditional measure on $[w_{m, 0}, w_{m, 1}]$ is bounded above for all $t_+ \in [t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}}]$ by $1 - p_{0, m}(L)$, and $\{K^+_u = 2\} = \{\max(U_{1, u}, U_{2, u}) < L\} = \{w_u < t_+ - 1 + L\} \cup \{w_u > t_+ + 1 - L\}$ (for $L > t_+$), whose conditional measure on $[w_{m, 0}, w_{m, 1}]$ is bounded above by $p_{2, m}(L)$.
For (2), under the conditional probability measure $\mathbb{P}(\cdot \mid \mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}},\, w_u(X_u) \in W_{b_u}\ \forall u \in U_{\mathrm{bin}})$, the continuous coordinates $(X_u)_{u \in U}$ are mutually independent because $(X_u)_{u \in U}$ are unconditionally i.i.d. $\mathrm{Unif}[0, 1)$ and each conditioning event $w_u(X_u) \in W_{b_u}$ depends solely on the single coordinate $X_u$. Furthermore, since $U_{\mathrm{bin}} \cap C_{\mathrm{act}} = \emptyset$, every active root coordinate $X_c$ ($c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$) remains unconditionally $\mathrm{Unif}[0, 1)$ (independent of $t_-$). In each active color $c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$, every non-owned difference $d \in D_c^{\mathrm{full}}$ ($c_{\mathrm{own}}(d) \neq c$) is replaced by the deterministic function OFF, ON_2, or STEP$_{b_d}$, which depends only on $L$ and the discrete conditioning state $(\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}, \mathbf{b})$ and not on $X_d$. Therefore, $\underline{M}_c(\lambda)$ is a measurable function solely of the private coordinate set
$$\Omega_c \;=\; \bigl(\{I_c, X_c\}\bigr) \;\cup\; \bigl\{(I_d, X_d) : d \in D_c^{\mathrm{full}} \setminus U_{\mathrm{shared}}\bigr\} \;\cup\; \bigl\{X_d : d \in D_c^{\mathrm{full}} \cap U_{\mathrm{shared}},\, I_d = 1,\, c_{\mathrm{own}}(d) = c\bigr\}.$$
Because each active $u \in U_{\mathrm{shared}}$ is assigned to at most one owner color $c_{\mathrm{own}}(u) \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$ (and $c \notin D_c^{\mathrm{full}}$ since $0 \notin D$), the private coordinate sets $(\Omega_c)_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}}$ are pairwise disjoint ($\Omega_c \cap \Omega_{c'} = \emptyset$ for all $c \neq c' \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$). Hence the random variables $(\underline{M}_c(\lambda))_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}}$ are conditionally mutually independent given $(\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}, \mathbf{b})$. By Theorem 2(1) and [1, Eq. (H21)–(H23)], each $\underline{M}_c(\lambda) \in \{0, 1, 2\}$ dominates $K_c^{(\epsilon)}(\lambda; \mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}, \mathbf{b})$ in the increasing-convex order on $\{0, 1, 2\}$. Since $\Phi((m_c)_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}}) = \frac{1}{2}(\sum_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}} m_c - 4)_+$ is increasing and convex in each coordinate $m_c \in \{0, 1, 2\}$ and $(\underline{M}_c(\lambda))_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}}$ are conditionally independent, replacing $\underline{M}_c$ by $K_c^{(\epsilon)}$ one color at a time preserves the expectation inequality. Substituting into the regrouped long-segment lower bound of Section 2 and Theorem 1(4) yields the stated lower bound on $G_C(A, B)$. $\square$
4. Complete Breakpoint Derivation, Continuous-Interval Bernstein Positivity Certification, and All-Phase Sub-$\frac{9}{5}$ Bounds for $34$ Classes
To integrate the piecewise-polynomial bathtub comparison laws over $\lambda \in [1/2, 1]$ with zero quadrature error and guaranteed non-negativity across every subinterval, we first record the complete set of $L$-zone knots and $\lambda$-breakpoints implemented in build_pure_1d_branch_ev and build_1d_diffbin_ev:
- Complete $L$-Knot Grid $\mathcal{K}_L(I_+)$: For unbinned evaluation ($U_{\mathrm{bin}} = \emptyset$), the single-difference laws
OFF,ON_2,ON_OWN, andUNSHare affine linear in $L$ on each elementary zone determined by $$\mathcal{K}_L^{\mathrm{pure}}(I_+) \;=\; \bigl\{0,\, t_{\mathrm{lo}},\, t_{\mathrm{hi}},\, 1 - t_{\mathrm{hi}},\, 1 - t_{\mathrm{lo}},\, 1\bigr\}.$$ For binned evaluation ($W_m = [w_{m, 0}, w_{m, 1}]$, $0 \le m < B_{\mathrm{bin}}$),STEP$_m(L)$ andOWN$_m(L)$ introduce the additional knots $\tau_{1, m}, \tau_{2, m}, w_{m, i} - 1 + t_{\mathrm{lo}}, 1 - t_{\mathrm{hi}} - w_{m, i}, w_{m, i} + 1 - t_{\mathrm{hi}}, t_{\mathrm{lo}} + 1 - w_{m, i}$ ($i \in \{0, 1\}$), and $1 - \frac{t_{\mathrm{hi}} - t_{\mathrm{lo}}}{2}$ intersected with $[0, 1]$. On every resulting $L$-zone $[L_i, L_{i+1}]$, the verifier explicitly checks at the endpoints $L_i, L_{i+1}$ and midpoint that every single-difference law $(p_0(L), p_1(L), p_2(L))$ is non-negative, sums to $1$, and has $p_0(L)$ and $p_0(L) + p_1(L)$ non-increasing across $[0, 1]$ (both within each zone and across every zone boundary). - Complete $\lambda$-Breakpoint Grid $\Lambda_{\mathrm{crit}}^{(\epsilon)}(I_+)$: As $\lambda$ varies over $[1/2, 1]$, the integration limits $L_1(\lambda) = 1 - \lambda$, $L_2(\lambda) = \frac{3}{2} - \lambda$, and the branch window $\mathrm{win}_\epsilon(\lambda; t_{\mathrm{lo}}, t_{\mathrm{hi}})$ are piecewise affine in $\lambda$. Their complete set of breakpoints in $[1/2, 1]$ consists of:
- The interval endpoints $\{1/2, 1\}$, and for $\epsilon = +1$ the window ridge and clamping points $\{t_{\mathrm{lo}} + t_{\mathrm{hi}}, 2t_{\mathrm{lo}}, 2t_{\mathrm{hi}}\} \cap [1/2, 1]$;
- The crossings of $L_1(\lambda)$, $L_2(\lambda)$, and $\mathrm{win}_\epsilon(\lambda)$ with every $L$-knot $k \in \mathcal{K}_L(I_+)$: $$\lambda \;\in\; \bigl\{1 - k,\; \tfrac{3}{2} - k,\; k + 1 - 2t_{\mathrm{lo}}\bigr\} \cap [1/2, 1] \quad (\epsilon = -1), \qquad \lambda \;\in\; \bigl\{1 - k,\; \tfrac{3}{2} - k,\; k - 1 + 2t_{\mathrm{hi}},\; 1 + 2t_{\mathrm{lo}} - k\bigr\} \cap [1/2, 1] \quad (\epsilon = +1);$$
- The crossings between $L_1(\lambda) = 1 - \lambda$ or $L_2(\lambda) = \frac{3}{2} - \lambda$ and $\mathrm{win}_\epsilon(\lambda)$: $$\lambda \;\in\; \bigl\{1 - t_{\mathrm{lo}},\; \tfrac{5}{4} - t_{\mathrm{lo}}\bigr\} \cap [1/2, 1] \quad (\epsilon = -1), \qquad \lambda \;\in\; \bigl\{t_{\mathrm{hi}},\; \tfrac{1}{4} + t_{\mathrm{hi}}\bigr\} \cap [1/2, 1] \quad (\epsilon = +1),$$ where $1 - \lambda = 1 + \lambda - 2t_{\mathrm{hi}}$ at $\lambda = t_{\mathrm{hi}}$ and $\frac{3}{2} - \lambda = 1 + \lambda - 2t_{\mathrm{hi}}$ at $\lambda = \frac{1}{4} + t_{\mathrm{hi}}$.
- Subinterval Invariant Verification and Exact Degree-$4$ Bernstein Non-Negativity Certificate: On every subinterval $[a_s, b_s]$ of the sorted grid $\Lambda_{\mathrm{crit}}^{(\epsilon)}(I_+)$, the verifier checks at both endpoints $\lambda = a_s$ and $\lambda = b_s$ that $\mathrm{win}_\epsilon(\lambda)$ is affine ($\mathrm{win}_\epsilon(\frac{a_s + b_s}{2}) = \frac{1}{2}(\mathrm{win}_\epsilon(a_s) + \mathrm{win}_\epsilon(b_s))$), that $L_1(\lambda)$, $L_2(\lambda)$, and $\mathrm{win}_\epsilon(\lambda)$ remain within their single assigned $L$-zones across the entire interval $[a_s, b_s]$, and that neither $L_1(\lambda)$ nor $L_2(\lambda)$ crosses $\mathrm{win}_\epsilon(\lambda)$ on $(a_s, b_s)$. Furthermore, for every cached color bathtub law $(p_{0, c}(\lambda), a_c(\lambda), b_c(\lambda))$ and every subinterval $[a_s, b_s]$ (partitioned into four quarters via the $17$ equispaced nodes $q = 0, \dots, 16$),
check_deg4_bernstein_nonnegreconstructs the five exact degree-$4$ Bernstein coefficients $(B_0, B_1, B_2, B_3, B_4)$ from the five equispaced values $(y_0, y_1, y_2, y_3, y_4)$ on each quarter via $$B_0 = y_0, \quad 12B_1 = -13y_0 + 48y_1 - 36y_2 + 16y_3 - 3y_4, \quad 18B_2 = 13y_0 - 64y_1 + 120y_2 - 64y_3 + 13y_4, \quad 12B_3 = -3y_0 + 16y_1 - 36y_2 + 48y_3 - 13y_4, \quad B_4 = y_4,$$ and asserts $B_k \ge 0$ for all $k \in \{0, 1, 2, 3, 4\}$. Since a polynomial of degree $\le 4$ with non-negative Bernstein coefficients on $[a_s, b_s]$ is non-negative everywhere on $[a_s, b_s]$, this algebraically certifies that $(p_{0, c}(\lambda), a_c(\lambda), b_c(\lambda))$ is a valid probability distribution on $\{0, 1, 2\}$ at every point $\lambda \in [a_s, b_s]$. Because the $4$-fold product $\prod_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}} \Pr(K_c^{(\epsilon)}(\lambda) = m_c)$ has degree $\le 16$ in $\lambda$ on $[a_s, b_s]$, the $17$-point closed Newton–Cotes quadrature rule of degree $16$ integrates the excess expectation on each subinterval $[a_s, b_s]$ with zero quadrature error.
Theorem 4 (Uniform All-Center Sub-$\frac{9}{5}$ Asymptotic Density Bounds for $34$ Collision Isomorphism Classes)
Let $C \subset \mathbb{F}_p^\times$ belong to any of the $29$ collision isomorphism classes with $|C \cap (C - C)| \le 2$ ($5$ classes with $|C \cap D| = 0$, $10$ classes with $|C \cap D| = 1$, and $14$ classes with $|C \cap D| = 2$) or any of the $5$ collision isomorphism classes with $|C \cap (C - C)| = 3$ represented by $(-8, -4, -2, -1)$, $(-5, -2, -1, 1)$, $(-4, -3, -2, 2)$, $(-4, -2, 2, 3)$, and $(-4, -1, 1, 2)$ ($34$ classes in total). Then across the entire phase domain $t_+ \in [0, 1/2]$ and uniformly for all $t_- \in [0, 1/2]$, the exact rational 1D evaluator of Theorems 1–3 certifies: $$\limsup_{p \to \infty} \max_{(x_0, y_0) \in \mathbb{F}_p^2} \frac{\alpha_{\mathrm{N3L}}\bigl(H_p(C; x_0, y_0)\bigr)}{p} \;\le\; c_{\max}^{1\mathrm{D}}(C) \;:=\; \max_{[a, b] \in \mathcal{P}_{1\mathrm{D}}(C)} \Bigl(c_{\mathrm{first}}(b) - G_{1\mathrm{D}}\bigl(C; [a, b]\bigr)\Bigr) \;<\; \frac{9}{5} \;=\; 1.8,$$ where $\mathcal{P}_{1\mathrm{D}}(C)$ is an exact dyadic partition of $[0, 1/2]$ (with $33$ classes certified using pure unbinned conditioning $U_{\mathrm{bin}} = \emptyset$ and class $29$, $(-3, -2, 1, 2)$, certified using $4$-bin dyadic difference-phase binning $W_m = [\frac{m}{4}, \frac{m+1}{4}]$ on $[1/4, 3/8]$):

Proof
For each of the $34$ classes, the standalone verification suite verify_correlated_four_hyperbolas.py checks that the sub-intervals $[a_j, b_j] \in \mathcal{P}_{1\mathrm{D}}(C)$ form a contiguous partition of $[0, 1/2]$ ($a_0 = 0$, $b_j = a_{j+1}$, $b_{\text{last}} = 1/2$), verifies that every ownership assignment satisfies the disjointness hypotheses of Theorem 3 (with $U_{\mathrm{bin}} \cap C_{\mathrm{act}} = \emptyset$), certifies endpoint zone containment, no-crossing invariants, and exact degree-$4$ Bernstein non-negativity of every comparison law $(p_{0, c}(\lambda), a_c(\lambda), b_c(\lambda))$ across every subinterval $[a_s, b_s]$, and computes $c_{\mathrm{first}}(b_j) - G_{1\mathrm{D}}(C; [a_j, b_j]) < \frac{9}{5}$ in exact rational arithmetic (fractions.Fraction) on every leaf. Since $c_{\mathrm{first}}(t_+)$ is strictly increasing on $[0, 1/2]$, $c_{\mathrm{first}}(t_+) \le c_{\mathrm{first}}(b_j)$ for all $t_+ \in [a_j, b_j]$, completing the proof. $\square$
5. Root-Role Lockout Resolution, Diagonal Reflection Duality, and 2D Root-Difference Phase Binning across Antipodal Parity Sheets
While 1D difference-phase binning (Theorem 4) resolves all $29$ classes with $|C \cap D| \le 2$ and $5$ classes with $|C \cap D| = 3$, it leaves an uncertified interior square on the remaining $23$ classes. Specifically, for the remaining $4$ classes with $T(C) = 3$ (where $|C \cap D| = 3$ and $|R_{\ge 2}(C)| = 0$) and all $19$ classes with $T(C) \ge 4$, 1D difference-phase binning encounters a combinatorial constraint on shared root-difference coordinates:
Proposition 2 (Active-Root vs. Binned-Difference Tradeoff on $C \cap D$)
Let $C \subset \mathbb{Q}^\times$ with $|C| = 4$. Under the 1D difference-phase binning framework of Theorem 3, conditional mutual independence of the active roots requires that the binned set $U_{\mathrm{bin}}$ and the active root set $C_{\mathrm{act}}$ be disjoint: $U_{\mathrm{bin}} \cap C_{\mathrm{act}} = \emptyset$. Consequently, for the shared root-difference coordinates $u \in C \cap D$:
- Any coordinate $u \in C \cap D$ placed into $U_{\mathrm{bin}}$ must be excluded from $C_{\mathrm{act}}$, so that binning $k_b = |U_{\mathrm{bin}} \cap C|$ shared root-difference coordinates forces $$|C_{\mathrm{act}}| \;\le\; 4 - k_b.$$ In particular, retaining all four active roots ($|C_{\mathrm{act}}| = 4$) forces $|U_{\mathrm{bin}} \cap C| = 0$, while binning one shared coordinate ($k_b = 1$) reduces $|C_{\mathrm{act}}| \le 3$, and binning two shared coordinates ($k_b \ge 2$) reduces $|C_{\mathrm{act}}| \le 2$.
- For collision isomorphism classes with $|C \cap D| = 3$ and $|R_{\ge 2}(C)| = 0$, five of the nine classes (rows 30–34 of Table 1) are successfully certified strictly below $1.8$ under 1D difference-phase binning by setting $C_{\mathrm{act}} = C$ and binning external differences or uncoupling coordinates with $k_b \le 1$. For the remaining four classes, 1D certificates with $|C_{\mathrm{act}}| \ge 3$ leave an uncertified interior domain near the center.
- In contrast, the 2D root-difference phase binning framework of Section 5 lifts the restriction $U_{\mathrm{bin}} \cap C_{\mathrm{act}} = \emptyset$ by binning the short-arc shifted root phase $\tilde{w}_u \in [0, 1]$ directly on active roots $u \in C_{\mathrm{act}} \cap D$, enabling simultaneous conditioning of root coordinates while retaining all $|C_{\mathrm{act}}| = 4$ active roots.
Proof
For (1), conditioning independent coordinates on separate coordinate-wise bin events preserves their mutual independence: since $(X_u)_{u \in U}$ are unconditionally mutually independent and each bin event $w_u(X_u) \in W_{b_u}$ depends solely on $X_u$, the coordinates remain conditionally mutually independent given $\mathbf{b} = (b_u)_{u \in U_{\mathrm{bin}}}$. However, placing an active root coordinate $c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$ into $U_{\mathrm{bin}}$ conditions $X_c$ to lie in a restricted subinterval $W_{b_c}$, which changes its marginal distribution away from $\mathrm{Unif}[0, 1)$ without coupling distinct roots. Because the increasing-convex bathtub comparison of Theorem 3 relies fundamentally on the uniform-root hypothesis $X_c \sim \mathrm{Unif}[0, 1)$ for all $c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$, applying Theorem 3's uniform-root comparison requires $U_{\mathrm{bin}} \cap C_{\mathrm{act}} = \emptyset$. Since $C_{\mathrm{act}} \subseteq C$, binning $k_b = |U_{\mathrm{bin}} \cap C|$ shared root-difference coordinates forces $|C_{\mathrm{act}}| \le |C \setminus U_{\mathrm{bin}}| = 4 - k_b$ under Theorem 3: if $k_b = 1$, $|C_{\mathrm{act}}| \le 3$; if $k_b \ge 2$, $|C_{\mathrm{act}}| \le 2$.
For (2), the empirical outcomes are verified directly by the exact rational certificates in Table 1: rows 30–34 ((-8, -4, -2, -1), (-5, -2, -1, 1), (-4, -3, -2, 2), (-4, -2, 2, 3), and (-4, -1, 1, 2)) each have $|C \cap D| = 3$ and $|R_{\ge 2}| = 0$, and each achieves $c_{\max}^{1\mathrm{D}}(C) < 1.8$ across all of $[0, 1/2]$. For the remaining four classes ((-5, -2, -1, 4), (-7, -4, -3, -2), (-5, -3, 1, 2), (-5, -2, -1, 3)), unbinned or 1D binned evaluation leaves an interior region around $[1/5, 3/8]$ where the 1D upper bound exceeds $1.8$.
For (3), Theorem 6 parameterizes the two minus-segment hyperbola roots of level $u$ simultaneously by their signed-midpoint phase $\tilde{w}_u$ and the center phase $t_-$, replacing the 1D restriction with joint piecewise-linear stochastic dominance envelopes that operate on active root pairs without dropping them from $C_{\mathrm{act}}$. $\square$
5.1 Diagonal Reflection Duality and 1D Exterior Cross Reduction
Let $\mathbb{F}_p$ denote the finite field of prime order $p > 2$. Consider the vertical reflection collineation $$\rho(x, y) \;=\; \bigl(x,\, p - 1 - y\bigr) \;\equiv\; (x, -1 - y) \pmod p.$$
Theorem 5 (Diagonal Reflection Duality and 1D Exterior Cross Reduction)
Let $C \subset \mathbb{F}_p^\times$ with $|C| = 4$, and let $(x_0, y_0) \in \mathbb{F}_p^2$ be hyperbola center coordinates with normalized phases $t_+ = \operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}(A + B, 0) \in [0, 1/2]$ and $t_- = \operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}(A - B, 0) \in [0, 1/2]$. Then:
- The collineation $\rho$ maps $H_p(C; x_0, y_0)$ bijectively onto $H_p(-C; x_0, -1 - y_0)$. Since dilation by $-1 \in \mathbb{F}_p^\times$ is an automorphism of the hyperbola collection preserving collinearity and additive triple structure, $-C$ belongs to the identical collision isomorphism class as $C$.
- Under $\rho$, the center coordinates transform on $\mathbb{F}_p^2$ as $(x_0, y_0) \mapsto (x_0, p - 1 - y_0)$, corresponding to normalized torus coordinates $A' = A$ and $B' = \{-B - 1/p\}$. Consequently, the center phases swap up to an $O(1/p)$ grid translation: $$(t_+', t_-') \;=\; (t_-, t_+) + O(1/p),$$ which converges identically to $(t_-, t_+)$ in the continuum limit $p \to \infty$ by the $2$-Lipschitz translation continuity of the limiting density ([1, Eq. (Z5)]).
- (1D Exterior Cross Reduction): If a 1D difference-phase binning certificate proves that $\limsup_{p \to \infty} \frac{\alpha_{\mathrm{N3L}}(H_p(C; x_0, y_0))}{p} < 1.8$ whenever $t_+ \in E_{1\mathrm{D}} \subset [0, 1/2]$, then by duality the same bound holds whenever $t_- \in E_{1\mathrm{D}}$. Therefore, the density bound holds across the entire two-dimensional cross domain $$\mathcal{D}_{\mathrm{cross}}(E_{1\mathrm{D}}) \;=\; \bigl(E_{1\mathrm{D}} \times [0, 1/2]\bigr) \;\cup\; \bigl([0, 1/2] \times E_{1\mathrm{D}}\bigr) \;\subset\; \left[0, \frac{1}{2}\right]^2.$$ The remaining uncertified domain is strictly confined to the compact interior square $$\mathcal{D}_{\mathrm{interior}} \;=\; \left(\left[0, \frac{1}{2}\right] \setminus E_{1\mathrm{D}}\right)^2.$$
Proof
For (1), under $\rho(x, y) = (x, p - 1 - y)$, any Euclidean line $y = mx + b$ in $\mathbb{R}^2$ maps to $y = -mx + (p - 1 - b)$, so $\rho$ is a genuine Euclidean collineation of the integer grid $[0, p-1]^2$ preserving collinear triples and non-collinear subsets. Dilation by $-1$ on $\mathbb{F}_p$ yields the level set $-C$, which satisfies $\mathcal{L}(-C) = -\mathcal{L}(C)$; since taking negatives preserves all equality patterns and linear relations among forms, $-C$ belongs to the identical 57-class collision isomorphism flat as $C$, allowing exact reuse of the identical certificate.
For (2), the normalized coordinates on $\mathbb{T}^2$ transform as $A' = A$ and $B' = \frac{p - 1 - y_0}{p} = 1 - B - \frac{1}{p}$, giving $A' + B' \equiv A - B - \frac{1}{p} \pmod 1$ and $A' - B' \equiv A + B + \frac{1}{p} \pmod 1$. By the triangle inequality on circular distance, $|t_+' - t_-| \le 1/p$ and $|t_-' - t_+| \le 1/p$. On the finite grid, the 2-Lipschitz translation inequality [1, Eq. (Z5)] guarantees $|\alpha_{\mathrm{N3L}}(H_p(C; x_0, y_0)) - \alpha_{\mathrm{N3L}}(H_p(C; x_0', y_0'))| \le 2(|x_0 - x_0'| + |y_0 - y_0'|) \le 4$, which vanishes when divided by $p$ as $p \to \infty$. Taking $\limsup_{p \to \infty}$ eliminates the $O(1/p)$ displacement identically.
For (3), for any center with $t_- \in E_{1\mathrm{D}}$ and $t_+ \in [0, 1/2]$, applying $\rho$ yields a center with phase $t_+' = t_- \in E_{1\mathrm{D}}$ on $-C$. Since $\rho$ is an affine collineation preserving collinearity, $\alpha_{\mathrm{N3L}}(H_p(C; x_0, y_0)) = \alpha_{\mathrm{N3L}}(H_p(-C; x_0', y_0')) < 1.8$. Hence every point with $t_+ \in E_{1\mathrm{D}}$ or $t_- \in E_{1\mathrm{D}}$ is certified, leaving only $([0, 1/2] \setminus E_{1\mathrm{D}})^2$. $\square$
5.2 Antipodal Parity Sheets and 2D Bathtub Majorization
For hyperbola center $(A, B) \in [0, 1)^2$, write $A + B = \delta_+ + k_+$ and $A - B = \delta_- + k_-$ where $\delta_+, \delta_- \in (-1/2, 1/2]$ and $k_+, k_- \in \mathbb{Z}$. Subtracting yields $2B = (\delta_+ - \delta_-) + (k_+ - k_-)$.
Definition 1 (Antipodal Parity Sheet)
The antipodal parity sheet of the center $(A, B)$ is defined by the modulo-2 invariant $$\sigma(A, B) \;=\; (k_+ - k_-) \bmod 2 \;\in\; \{0, 1\}.$$ Under the half-period translation $\tau_{1/2}(A, B) = (A + 1/2, B + 1/2) \pmod 1$, the center phases $(t_+, t_-)$ are invariant, while the parity sheet flips: $\sigma(\tau_{1/2}(A, B)) = 1 - \sigma(A, B)$. Thus, every point $(t_+, t_-) \in [0, 1/2]^2$ corresponds to two distinct parity sheets $\sigma \in \{0, 1\}$ on the physical torus $\mathbb{T}^2$.
Theorem 6 (Unified Scalar Representation, Capped-Process Pointwise Nested Survival, Conditional Mutual Independence, and First-Order Stochastic Dominance across $\lambda \in [\lambda_{\min}, 1]$)
Fix a 2D phase cell $I_+ \times I_- = [t_{+,\mathrm{lo}}, t_{+,\mathrm{hi}}] \times [t_{-,\mathrm{lo}}, t_{-,\mathrm{hi}}] \subseteq [0, 1/2]^2$, an antipodal parity sheet $\sigma \in \{0, 1\}$, a minus-segment branch $\epsilon \in \{-1, +1\}$ ($s_\epsilon \in \{\lambda, 2 - \lambda\}$ for $\lambda \in (0, 1]$), and a shared splitting-flag vector $\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}} \in \{0, 1\}^{U_{\mathrm{shared}}}$. Choose an active root subset $C_{\mathrm{act}} \subseteq \{c \in C : c \notin U_{\mathrm{shared}} \text{ or } I_c = 1\}$ with $|C_{\mathrm{act}}| \in \{3, 4\}$, an ownership map $c_{\mathrm{own}} : \{u \in U_{\mathrm{shared}} : I_u = 1\} \to C_{\mathrm{act}}$ assigning every shared active root $u \in C_{\mathrm{act}} \cap U_{\mathrm{shared}}$ to its own root role $(\text{`ROOT`}, u)$ ($c_{\mathrm{own}}(u) = u$) and every remaining active shared index $u \in U_{\mathrm{shared}} \setminus C_{\mathrm{act}}$ ($I_u = 1$) to a single difference-owner color $c_{\mathrm{own}}(u) \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$ with $u \in D_{c_{\mathrm{own}}(u)}^{\mathrm{full}}$ ($(\text{`DIFF\_OWN`}, c_{\mathrm{own}}(u))$), and a binned subset $U_{\mathrm{bin}} \subseteq \{u \in U_{\mathrm{shared}} : I_u = 1\}$ (which is now permitted to include active shared roots $u \in C_{\mathrm{act}} \cap U_{\mathrm{shared}}$). For each $u \in U$, define the folded plus-diagonal phase $w_u(X_u) = 2\operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}(X_u + \frac{\delta_+}{2}, \frac{s_\epsilon}{2}) \in [0, 1]$ and the shifted root phase $\tilde{w}_u(X_u) = 2\operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}(X_u + B + \frac{\delta_-}{2}, \frac{s_\epsilon}{2}) \in [0, 1]$, and condition on the joint bin event $\mathcal{E}(\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}, \mathbf{b}) = \{\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}\} \cap \bigcap_{u \in U_{\mathrm{bin}}} \{w_u(X_u) \in W_{b_u}\}$ where $W_m = [w_{m, 0}, w_{m, 1}]$ has width $\Delta_m$ ($0 \le m < B_{\mathrm{bin}}$). Then:
- (Algebraic Parity Reflection): For every $u \in U$ and every center $(A, B) \in [0, 1)^2$, the shifted root phase $\tilde{w}_u(X_u)$ is determined identically by $w_u(X_u)$ and the parity sheet $\sigma = \sigma(A, B) \in \{0, 1\}$: $$\tilde{w}_u(X_u) \;=\; \begin{cases} w_u(X_u) & \text{if } \sigma(A, B) = 0, \\ 1 - w_u(X_u) & \text{if } \sigma(A, B) = 1. \end{cases}$$ In particular, for uniform bins $W_m = [\frac{m}{B_{\mathrm{bin}}}, \frac{m+1}{B_{\mathrm{bin}}}]$, conditioning on $w_c(X_c) \in W_{b_c}$ for a binned active root $c \in C_{\mathrm{act}} \cap U_{\mathrm{bin}}$ is equivalent to $\tilde{w}_c(X_c) \sim \mathrm{Unif}(W_{r_{\mathrm{bin}}})$ where $r_{\mathrm{bin}} = b_c$ if $\sigma = 0$ and $r_{\mathrm{bin}} = B_{\mathrm{bin}} - 1 - b_c$ if $\sigma = 1$; while for an unbinned active root $c \in C_{\mathrm{act}} \setminus U_{\mathrm{bin}}$, $\tilde{w}_c(X_c) \sim \mathrm{Unif}[0, 1]$ (represented by the full-interval bin $W_{B_{\mathrm{bin}}} := [0, 1]$ of width $\Delta_{B_{\mathrm{bin}}} := 1$).
- (Simultaneous Threshold Governance across $\lambda \in (0, 1]$): On the minus segment $x + y = s_\epsilon$ of length $\lambda \in (0, 1]$, the two hyperbola roots of any active color $c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$ ($I_c = 1$) have plus-line lengths given identically by $$U_{\min}(X_c) \;=\; \max\bigl(0,\, \tilde{w}_c + t_- - 1,\, 1 - \tilde{w}_c - t_-\bigr), \qquad U_{\max}(X_c) \;=\; 1 - |\tilde{w}_c - t_-|.$$ Uniformly for all $t_- \in I_- = [t_{-,\mathrm{lo}}, t_{-,\mathrm{hi}}]$ and $\tilde{w}_c \in [0, 1]$, $U_{\min}(X_c)$ and $U_{\max}(X_c)$ are sandwiched between the exact piecewise-linear envelopes $L_{\min}^\pm(\tilde{w}_c)$ and $L_{\max}^\pm(\tilde{w}_c)$ of Section 5.3: $$L_{\min}^-(\tilde{w}_c) \;\le\; U_{\min}(X_c) \;\le\; L_{\min}^+(\tilde{w}_c) \;\le\; L_{\max}^+(\tilde{w}_c), \qquad L_{\min}^-(\tilde{w}_c) \;\le\; L_{\max}^-(\tilde{w}_c) \;\le\; U_{\max}(X_c) \;\le\; L_{\max}^+(\tilde{w}_c).$$
- (Explicit Capped Surviving Root Counts $\underline{M}_c(\lambda)$ and Conditional Mutual Independence): For each active color $c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$ and each auxiliary difference $d \in D_c^{\mathrm{full}}$, assign the state token $\mathrm{st}_c(d) \in \{\text{`UNSH`}, \text{`OFF`}, \text{`OWN`}_{b_d}, \text{`STEP`}_{b_d}, \text{`ON\_OWN`}, \text{`ON\_2`}\}$ via the formula of Theorem 3(2) (since any active root $u \in C_{\mathrm{act}} \cap U_{\mathrm{shared}}$ has $c_{\mathrm{own}}(u) = u$, every appearance of $u$ as an auxiliary difference $d = u \in D_{c'}^{\mathrm{full}}$ for another active color $c' \neq u$ has $c_{\mathrm{own}}(u) \neq c'$ and is therefore assigned the deterministic step cap $\text{`STEP`}_{b_u}$ if $u \in U_{\mathrm{bin}}$ or $\text{`ON\_2`}$ if $u \notin U_{\mathrm{bin}}$). Define the capped blocker count $\overline{K}^+_{c, d}(L; \omega)$ by retaining the true blocker $K^+_d(I_d, X_d; L)$ when $d \notin U_{\mathrm{shared}}$ or $c_{\mathrm{own}}(d) = c$, and replacing $K^+_d$ by its deterministic upper cap ($0$ for
OFF, $1 + \mathbf{1}\{L > t_{+,\mathrm{lo}}\}$ forON_2, and $\mathbf{1}\{L > \tau_{1, b_d}\} + \mathbf{1}\{L > \tau_{2, b_d}\}$ forSTEP$_{b_d}$) when $d \in U_{\mathrm{shared}}$ and $c_{\mathrm{own}}(d) \neq c$. Letting $\underline{\xi}_c(P_{c, r}; \omega) := \mathbf{1}\bigl\{\mathbf{1}\{L(P_{c, r}) > \mathrm{win}_\epsilon(\lambda; I_+)\} + \sum_{d \in D_c^{\mathrm{full}}} \overline{K}^+_{c, d}(L(P_{c, r}); \omega) \le 3\bigr\}$, the capped surviving root count on $x + y = s_\epsilon(\lambda)$ is $$\underline{M}_c(\lambda) \;:=\; I_c \sum_{r=1}^2 \mathbf{1}\bigl\{U_r(X_c) \ge 1 - \lambda\bigr\}\,\underline{\xi}_c(P_{c, r}; \omega) \;\in\; \{0, 1, 2\}.$$ Then $M_c(\lambda) \ge \underline{M}_c(\lambda)$ holds simultaneously for all $c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$ on every realization $\omega \in \mathcal{E}(\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}, \mathbf{b})$, and because each $\underline{M}_c(\lambda)$ is measurable with respect to the private coordinate set $$\Omega_c \;=\; \bigl\{(I_c, X_c)\bigr\} \;\cup\; \bigl\{(I_d, X_d) : d \in D_c^{\mathrm{full}} \setminus U_{\mathrm{shared}}\bigr\} \;\cup\; \bigl\{X_d : d \in D_c^{\mathrm{full}} \cap U_{\mathrm{shared}},\, I_d = 1,\, c_{\mathrm{own}}(d) = c\bigr\}$$ and the sets $(\Omega_c)_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}}$ are pairwise disjoint, the random variables $(\underline{M}_c(\lambda))_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}}$ are conditionally mutually independent given $\mathcal{E}(\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}, \mathbf{b})$. - (Pointwise Nested Capped Survival and First-Order Stochastic Dominance across $\lambda \in [\lambda_{\min}, 1]$): For every realization $\omega_{\mathrm{aux}}$ of the private auxiliary differences in $\Omega_c \setminus \{(I_c, X_c)\}$, the capped blockers $\overline{K}^+_{c, d}(L; \omega_{\mathrm{aux}})$ are non-decreasing in $L$, so the capped root survival indicators are pointwise nested: $$\underline{\xi}_c(P_{U_{\min}}; \omega_{\mathrm{aux}}) \;\ge\; \underline{\xi}_c(P_{U_{\max}}; \omega_{\mathrm{aux}}).$$ Consequently, for every $\lambda \in [\lambda_{\min}, 1]$ where $\lambda_{\min} := \min(1 - t_{-,\mathrm{lo}}, t_{-,\mathrm{hi}}) \in [0, 1/2]$, conditional on $I_c = 1$ and $\mathcal{E}(\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}, \mathbf{b})$ (with $r_{\mathrm{bin}} \in \{0, \dots, B_{\mathrm{bin}}\}-1$ if $c \in U_{\mathrm{bin}}$ and $r_{\mathrm{bin}} = B_{\mathrm{bin}}$ if $c \notin U_{\mathrm{bin}}$), $\Pr(\underline{M}_c(\lambda) = 2 \mid I_c = 1, \mathcal{E}) \ge b_c^{\mathrm{cond}}(\lambda)$ and $\Pr(\underline{M}_c(\lambda) \ge 1 \mid I_c = 1, \mathcal{E}) \ge s_{1, c}^{\mathrm{cond}}(\lambda)$, where $$b_c^{\mathrm{cond}}(\lambda) \;:=\; \frac{1}{\Delta_{r_{\mathrm{bin}}}}\int_{W_{r_{\mathrm{bin}}}} \mathbf{1}\bigl\{L_{\min}^-(\tilde{w}) \ge 1 - \lambda\bigr\}\, q^{\mathrm{surv}}_{\mathrm{st}_c, \epsilon}\bigl(L_{\max}^+(\tilde{w})\bigr)\,d\tilde{w},$$ $$s_{1, c}^{\mathrm{cond}}(\lambda) \;:=\; \frac{1}{\Delta_{r_{\mathrm{bin}}}}\int_{W_{r_{\mathrm{bin}}}} \Bigl[\mathbf{1}\bigl\{L_{\min}^-(\tilde{w}) \ge 1 - \lambda\bigr\}\, q^{\mathrm{surv}}_{\mathrm{st}_c, \epsilon}\bigl(L_{\min}^+(\tilde{w})\bigr) + \mathbf{1}\bigl\{L_{\min}^-(\tilde{w}) < 1 - \lambda \le L_{\max}^-(\tilde{w})\bigr\}\, q^{\mathrm{surv}}_{\mathrm{st}_c, \epsilon}\bigl(L_{\max}^+(\tilde{w})\bigr)\Bigr]\,d\tilde{w}.$$ Setting $(s_{1, c}(\lambda), b_c(\lambda)) = (s_{1, c}^{\mathrm{cond}}(\lambda), b_c^{\mathrm{cond}}(\lambda))$ if $c \in U_{\mathrm{shared}}$ (where $I_c = 1$ is conditioned) and $(s_{1, c}(\lambda), b_c(\lambda)) = \frac{1}{2}(s_{1, c}^{\mathrm{cond}}(\lambda), b_c^{\mathrm{cond}}(\lambda))$ if $c \notin U_{\mathrm{shared}}$ (where $I_c \sim \mathrm{Bernoulli}(1/2)$ is unconditioned), let $K_c^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}(\lambda) \in \{0, 1, 2\}$ have distribution $(p_{0, c}(\lambda), a_c(\lambda), b_c(\lambda)) = (1 - s_{1, c}(\lambda), s_{1, c}(\lambda) - b_c(\lambda), b_c(\lambda))$. Then on every $\lambda$-subinterval $[a_s, b_s] \subseteq [\lambda_{\min}, 1]$ (certified non-negative via degree-$4$ Bernstein coefficients), $\underline{M}_c(\lambda)$ dominates $K_c^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}(\lambda)$ in first-order stochastic dominance: $\underline{M}_c(\lambda) \succeq_{\mathrm{st}} K_c^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}(\lambda)$. Because $(\underline{M}_c(\lambda))_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}}$ are conditionally mutually independent and $\Phi((m_c)_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}}) = \frac{1}{2}(\sum_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}} m_c - 4)_+$ is coordinatewise non-decreasing, for every $(A, B)$ in parity sheet $\sigma$ with $(t_+, t_-) \in I_+ \times I_-$: $$G_C(A, B) \;\ge\; \frac{1}{2}\Bigl(G_{2\mathrm{D}}^{(-1, \sigma)}\bigl(C; I_+ \times I_-\bigr) + G_{2\mathrm{D}}^{(+1, \sigma)}\bigl(C; I_+ \times I_-\bigr)\Bigr),$$ where $$G_{2\mathrm{D}}^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}\bigl(C; I_+ \times I_-\bigr) \;=\; \int_{\lambda_{\min}}^1 \sum_{\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}} 2^{-|U_{\mathrm{shared}}|} \sum_{\mathbf{b}} \left(\prod_{u \in U_{\mathrm{bin}}} \Delta_{b_u}\right) \mathbb{E}\!\left[\left(\sum_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}} K_c^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}(\lambda; \mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}, \mathbf{b}) - 4\right)_+\right] d\lambda.$$
- (4-Term Symmetric Pair-Sum Tail Convolution Identity): For any four independent random variables $K_1, K_2, K_3, K_4 \in \{0, 1, 2\}$ with pair sums $X = K_1 + K_2 \in \{0, 1, 2, 3, 4\}$ and $Y = K_3 + K_4 \in \{0, 1, 2, 3, 4\}$, $$\mathbb{E}\!\left[\frac{1}{2}\bigl(K_1 + K_2 + K_3 + K_4 - 4\bigr)_+\right] \;=\; \frac{1}{2}\sum_{j=1}^4 \Pr(K_1 + K_2 \ge j)\,\Pr(K_3 + K_4 \ge 5 - j).$$
Proof
For (1), $(X_u + B + \frac{\delta_-}{2}) - (X_u + \frac{\delta_+}{2}) = B + \frac{\delta_- - \delta_+}{2} = \frac{k_+ - k_-}{2} \equiv \frac{\sigma(A, B)}{2} \pmod 1$. Translating by $1/2$ on $\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}$ reflects circular distance: $\operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}(\theta + 1/2, s_\epsilon/2) = 1/2 - \operatorname{dist}_{\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}(\theta, s_\epsilon/2)$, giving $\tilde{w}_u = 1 - w_u$ when $\sigma = 1$ and $\tilde{w}_u = w_u$ when $\sigma = 0$.
For (2), on $x + y = s_\epsilon$, the two roots of level $c$ have $x$-coordinates $x_{c, 1} = X_c + A$ and $x_{c, 2} = s_\epsilon - (X_c + B) \pmod 1$, whose midpoint on the short arc of length $t_-$ is $X_c + B + \frac{\delta_-}{2} + \frac{s_\epsilon}{2}$ modulo reflection; applying the exact folding derivation of Theorem 3(1) with $(\tilde{w}_c, t_-)$ in place of $(w_u, t_+)$ yields $U_{\min}(X_c)$ and $U_{\max}(X_c)$, and taking infima and suprema over $t_- \in [t_{-,\mathrm{lo}}, t_{-,\mathrm{hi}}]$ yields $L_{\min}^\pm(\tilde{w}_c)$ and $L_{\max}^\pm(\tilde{w}_c)$.
For (3), on the event $\mathcal{E}(\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}, \mathbf{b})$, Theorem 3(1) and Theorem 1(4) guarantee that $\overline{K}^+_{c, d}(L; \omega) \ge K^+_d(I_d, X_d; L)$ and $\mathbf{1}\{L > \mathrm{win}_\epsilon(\lambda; I_+)\} \ge \mathbf{1}\{U_{\mathrm{own}}(s_\epsilon) < L\}$ hold pointwise on the common probability space for every $c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$ and $d \in D_c^{\mathrm{full}}$. Thus $\underline{\xi}_c(P_{c, r}; \omega) \le \xi(P_{c, r}; \omega)$ and $M_c(\lambda) \ge \underline{M}_c(\lambda)$ simultaneously for all $c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$ (and $M_c(\lambda) \ge 0$ for any dropped color $c \in C \setminus C_{\mathrm{act}}$). Under $\mathbb{P}(\cdot \mid \mathcal{E}(\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}, \mathbf{b}))$, the continuous coordinates $(X_u)_{u \in U}$ remain mutually independent because each bin condition $w_u(X_u) \in W_{b_u}$ restricts only the single coordinate $X_u$. Since every shared index $u \in U_{\mathrm{shared}}$ with $I_u = 1$ is owned by at most one active color $c_{\mathrm{own}}(u) \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$ (either as ROOT if $u \in C_{\mathrm{act}}$ or as DIFF_OWN if $u \notin C_{\mathrm{act}}$) and all non-owned appearances are replaced by deterministic functions of $L$ and $(\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}, \mathbf{b})$, the private coordinate sets $(\Omega_c)_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}}$ are pairwise disjoint, proving that $(\underline{M}_c(\lambda))_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}}$ are conditionally mutually independent given $\mathcal{E}(\mathbf{I}_{\mathrm{shared}}, \mathbf{b})$.
For (4), since $\underline{\xi}_c(P_{U_{\min}}; \omega_{\mathrm{aux}}) \ge \underline{\xi}_c(P_{U_{\max}}; \omega_{\mathrm{aux}})$ pointwise, when $I_c = 1$ we have $\{\underline{M}_c(\lambda) = 2\} = \{U_{\min}(X_c) \ge 1 - \lambda\} \cap \{\underline{\xi}_c(P_{U_{\max}}; \omega_{\mathrm{aux}}) = 1\}$ and $\{\underline{M}_c(\lambda) \ge 1\} = (\{U_{\min}(X_c) \ge 1 - \lambda\} \cap \{\underline{\xi}_c(P_{U_{\min}}; \omega_{\mathrm{aux}}) = 1\}) \sqcup (\{U_{\min}(X_c) < 1 - \lambda \le U_{\max}(X_c)\} \cap \{\underline{\xi}_c(P_{U_{\max}}; \omega_{\mathrm{aux}}) = 1\})$. Averaging over $\omega_{\mathrm{aux}}$ gives $\mathbb{E}[\underline{\xi}_c(P_L) \mid X_c, \mathcal{E}] \ge q^{\mathrm{surv}}_{\mathrm{st}_c, \epsilon}(L)$ by Theorem 2(3) and Theorem 3(1). Because $q^{\mathrm{surv}}_{\mathrm{st}_c, \epsilon}(L)$ is non-increasing in $L \in [0, 1]$ and $L_{\min}^-(\tilde{w}_c) \le U_{\min}(X_c) \le L_{\min}^+(\tilde{w}_c) \le L_{\max}^+(\tilde{w}_c)$ and $L_{\max}^-(\tilde{w}_c) \le U_{\max}(X_c) \le L_{\max}^+(\tilde{w}_c)$, the integrand for $\Pr(\underline{M}_c(\lambda) = 2 \mid X_c, I_c = 1, \mathcal{E})$ is bounded below by $\mathbf{1}\{L_{\min}^-(\tilde{w}_c) \ge 1 - \lambda\}\,q^{\mathrm{surv}}_{\mathrm{st}_c, \epsilon}(L_{\max}^+(\tilde{w}_c))$, while the integrand for $\Pr(\underline{M}_c(\lambda) \ge 1 \mid X_c, I_c = 1, \mathcal{E})$ is bounded below by $\mathbf{1}\{L_{\min}^-(\tilde{w}_c) \ge 1 - \lambda\}\,q^{\mathrm{surv}}_{\mathrm{st}_c, \epsilon}(L_{\min}^+(\tilde{w}_c)) + \mathbf{1}\{L_{\min}^-(\tilde{w}_c) < 1 - \lambda \le L_{\max}^-(\tilde{w}_c)\}\,q^{\mathrm{surv}}_{\mathrm{st}_c, \epsilon}(L_{\max}^+(\tilde{w}_c))$ (noting that on the intermediate event $L_{\min}^-(\tilde{w}_c) < 1 - \lambda \le U_{\min}(X_c)$, the true integrand is $q^{\mathrm{surv}}(U_{\min}(X_c)) \ge q^{\mathrm{surv}}(L_{\max}^+(\tilde{w}_c))$, which still dominates the second term). Integrating over $\tilde{w}_c \sim \mathrm{Unif}(W_{r_{\mathrm{bin}}})$ establishes $\Pr(\underline{M}_c(\lambda) \ge 1 \mid \mathcal{E}) \ge s_{1, c}(\lambda) = \Pr(K_c^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}(\lambda) \ge 1)$ and $\Pr(\underline{M}_c(\lambda) = 2 \mid \mathcal{E}) \ge b_c(\lambda) = \Pr(K_c^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}(\lambda) = 2)$ for every $\lambda \in [\lambda_{\min}, 1]$, i.e., $\underline{M}_c(\lambda) \succeq_{\mathrm{st}} K_c^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}(\lambda)$ in first-order stochastic dominance. By standard inverse-CDF coupling on the product space $[0, 1]^{C_{\mathrm{act}}}$, conditionally mutually independent variables $(\underline{M}_c(\lambda))_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}}$ dominating $(K_c^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}(\lambda))_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}}$ coordinatewise in $\succeq_{\mathrm{st}}$ satisfy $\mathbb{E}[\Phi((\underline{M}_c(\lambda))) \mid \mathcal{E}] \ge \mathbb{E}[\Phi((K_c^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}(\lambda)))]$ for every coordinatewise non-decreasing function $\Phi$, and integrating over $\lambda \in [\lambda_{\min}, 1] \subseteq [0, 1]$ in the full-range formula of Section 2 yields $G_C(A, B) \ge \frac{1}{2}(G_{2\mathrm{D}}^{(-1, \sigma)} + G_{2\mathrm{D}}^{(+1, \sigma)})$. Part (5) follows from the discrete indicator identity $(X + Y - 4)_+ = \sum_{j=1}^4 \mathbf{1}\{X \ge j\}\,\mathbf{1}\{Y \ge 5 - j\}$ for $X, Y \in \{0, 1, 2, 3, 4\}$. $\square$
5.3 Exact Piecewise-Linear 2D Envelopes, Short-Segment Integration Range $\lambda \in [\lambda_{\min}, 1]$, 9-Node Lagrange Gram Quadrature, and Multi-Tier Cut-Set Compilation
To make the verification of Theorem 6 completely transparent and self-contained, we record the exact algebraic formulas used by build_2d_rootbin_ev_branch and verify_and_compile_role_table on each 2D cell $I_+ \times I_- = [t_{+,\mathrm{lo}}, t_{+,\mathrm{hi}}] \times [t_{-,\mathrm{lo}}, t_{-,\mathrm{hi}}] \subseteq [0, 1/2]^2$:
-
Exact Piecewise-Linear Envelopes $L_{\min}^\pm(\tilde{w}_u)$ and $L_{\max}^\pm(\tilde{w}_u)$ and Short-Segment Threshold $\lambda_{\min} = \min(1 - t_{-,\mathrm{lo}}, t_{-,\mathrm{hi}})$: On any elementary sub-interval $\tilde{w}_u \in [w_a, w_b] \subseteq [0, 1]$ bounded by the critical knots $\{0, 1, t_{-,\mathrm{lo}}, t_{-,\mathrm{hi}}, \frac{t_{-,\mathrm{lo}} + t_{-,\mathrm{hi}}}{2}, 1 - t_{-,\mathrm{hi}}, 1 - t_{-,\mathrm{lo}}, 1 - \frac{t_{-,\mathrm{lo}} + t_{-,\mathrm{hi}}}{2}, \frac{t_{-,\mathrm{hi}} - t_{-,\mathrm{lo}}}{2}, 1 - \frac{t_{-,\mathrm{hi}} - t_{-,\mathrm{lo}}}{2}\} \cup \{m/B_{\mathrm{bin}} : 0 \le m \le B_{\mathrm{bin}}\} $ and their preimages under the $L$-zone knots $\mathcal{K}_L(I_+)$, the infimum and supremum of $U_{\min}(X_u) = \max(0, \tilde{w}_u + t_- - 1, 1 - \tilde{w}_u - t_-)$ and $U_{\max}(X_u) = 1 - |\tilde{w}_u - t_-|$ over $t_- \in [t_{-,\mathrm{lo}}, t_{-,\mathrm{hi}}]$ are affine linear functions $c_0 + c_1 \tilde{w}_u$ with slope $c_1 \in \{-1, 0, +1\}$: $$L_{\min}^-(\tilde{w}_u) \;=\; \max\bigl(0,\; \tilde{w}_u + t_{-,\mathrm{lo}} - 1,\; 1 - \tilde{w}_u - t_{-,\mathrm{hi}}\bigr),$$ $$L_{\max}^+(\tilde{w}_u) \;=\; \min\bigl(1,\; 1 + t_{-,\mathrm{hi}} - \tilde{w}_u,\; 1 - t_{-,\mathrm{lo}} + \tilde{w}_u\bigr),$$ $$L_{\max}^-(\tilde{w}_u) \;=\; \min\bigl(1 + t_{-,\mathrm{lo}} - \tilde{w}_u,\; 1 - t_{-,\mathrm{hi}} + \tilde{w}_u\bigr),$$ $$L_{\min}^+(\tilde{w}_u) \;=\; \min\Bigl(L_{\max}^+(\tilde{w}_u),\; \max\bigl(\tilde{w}_u + t_{-,\mathrm{hi}} - 1,\; 1 - \tilde{w}_u - t_{-,\mathrm{lo}}\bigr)\Bigr).$$ Integrating the cubic zone polynomials $q_{k,\mathrm{st}}(L)$ ($k \in \{2, 3\}$) composed with these affine linear envelopes over $\tilde{w}_u \in [w_a, w_b] \cap \{\tilde{w}_u : L(\tilde{w}_u) \ge 1 - \lambda\}$ (for both binned active roots $r_{\mathrm{bin}} \in \{0, \dots, B_{\mathrm{bin}}-1\}$ and unbinned active roots $r_{\mathrm{bin}} = B_{\mathrm{bin}}$) yields exact degree-$\le 4$ polynomials in $\lambda$ on every elementary $\lambda$-subinterval $[a_s, b_s] \subseteq [\lambda_{\min}, 1]$ where $\lambda_{\min} = \min(1 - t_{-,\mathrm{lo}}, t_{-,\mathrm{hi}}) = t_{-,\mathrm{hi}} \le 1/2$. Unlike the 1D bathtub formula of Theorem 2(1) (which uses $2\lambda - 1$ and is restricted to long segments $\lambda \in [1/2, 1]$), the 2D envelope integrals of Theorem 6(4) remain valid and non-negative on the short-segment sub-range $\lambda \in [t_{-,\mathrm{hi}}, 1/2]$ (where $L_{\min}^-(\tilde{w}) \ge 1 - \lambda$ holds near $\tilde{w} \in \{0, 1\}$ so that both roots of an active color can lie simultaneously on a short minus segment of length $\lambda > t_-$). On tight interior cells—such as
(-4, -2, 1, 2)on $[27/80, 3/8] \times [1/5, 9/40]$ ($\sigma = 1$, where the short-segment range $\lambda \in [9/40, 1/2]$ lowers the bound from $1.800053$ to $1.799997 < 1.8$) and(-2, -1, 1, 2)on $[31/80, 2/5] \times [13/40, 7/20]$ ($\sigma = 1$, where $\lambda \in [7/20, 1/2]$ lowers the bound from $1.800043$ to $1.799916 < 1.8$)—retaining this short-segment contribution is essential to certify the cell strictly below $1.8$ at $B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 4$. -
Exact Degree-4 Bernstein Non-Negativity and 9-Node Lagrange Gram Quadrature: On each elementary $\lambda$-subinterval $[a_s, b_s]$, let $\lambda_q = a_s + \frac{q}{8}(b_s - a_s)$ ($q = 0, \dots, 8$) be the $9$ equispaced nodes. The verifier reconstructs the exact degree-$4$ Bernstein coefficients of $p_{0, c}(\lambda), a_c(\lambda), b_c(\lambda)$ on both halves $[a_s, \frac{a_s + b_s}{2}]$ and $[\frac{a_s + b_s}{2}, b_s]$ from the $9$ node values and asserts non-negativity of all $15$ Bernstein coefficients per color law, certifying that $(p_{0, c}(\lambda), a_c(\lambda), b_c(\lambda))$ is a valid probability distribution on $\{0, 1, 2\}$ at every point $\lambda \in [a_s, b_s]$. For any pair of active colors $(c_1, c_2)$, the pair-sum tail probabilities $t_j(\lambda) = \Pr(K_{c_1}^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}(\lambda) + K_{c_2}^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}(\lambda) \ge j)$ ($j \in \{1, 2, 3, 4\}$) are polynomials of degree $\le 8$ in $\lambda$ on $[a_s, b_s]$, so they are determined exactly by their $9$ node values via the degree-$8$ Lagrange basis polynomials $\{\ell_r(u)\}_{r=0}^8$ on $[0, 1]$. Precomputing the exact $9 \times 9$ rational Gram matrix $$G_{r, r'}^{(8)} \;=\; \int_0^1 \ell_r(u)\,\ell_{r'}(u)\,du \qquad (0 \le r, r' \le 8)$$ evaluates the degree-$16$ product integral $\int_{a_s}^{b_s} t_j^{(L)}(\lambda)\,t_{5-j}^{(R)}(\lambda)\,d\lambda = (b_s - a_s)\,\mathbf{t}_j^{(L)\top} G^{(8)} \mathbf{t}_{5-j}^{(R)}$ in exact integer arithmetic with zero quadrature remainder.
-
Multi-Tier Cut-Set Compilation and 3-Vector Quadratic Basis Reduction: For a partition of the four active colors into two pairs $P_L = (c_1, c_2)$ and $P_R = (c_3, c_4)$, the binned coordinates $U_{\mathrm{bin}}$ decompose into $U_{\mathrm{cut}} = U_{\mathrm{bin}} \cap \mathrm{used}(P_L) \cap \mathrm{used}(P_R)$ and the private pair coordinates $U_{L,\mathrm{only}}, U_{R,\mathrm{only}}$. Conditioning on the cut-bin index vector $\mathbf{b}_{\mathrm{cut}} \in \{0, \dots, B_{\mathrm{bin}}-1\}^{U_{\mathrm{cut}}}$ factors the average over $B_{\mathrm{bin}}^{|U_{\mathrm{bin}}|}$ bin tuples into independent pair-sum distributions on $P_L$ and $P_R$, reducing evaluation complexity from $O(B_{\mathrm{bin}}^{|U_{\mathrm{bin}}|})$ to $O(B_{\mathrm{bin}}^{|U_{\mathrm{cut}}|})$. Furthermore, since $s_{1, c} = a_c + b_c$ satisfies $a_{c_1}a_{c_2} = s_{1, c_1}s_{1, c_2} - s_3$, the four pair-sum tails $(t_1, t_2, t_3, t_4)$ on $P_R$ are exact linear combinations of just three quadratic node-wise products $(s_{1, c_3}s_{1, c_4},\, s_3,\, b_{c_3}b_{c_4})$ plus single-color linear expectations.

Applying Theorems 1–6, adaptive 2D root-difference subdivision, and the super-modular first-order sub-cell majorization of Theorem 8 across both antipodal parity sheets $\sigma \in \{0, 1\}$, we establish global all-center sub-$9/5$ bounds for all $18$ remaining canonical collision isomorphism classes:

For each of the $16$ collision isomorphism classes in Table 2, Rows 1–16 (comprising all $11$ remaining classes with $T(C) = 4$, all $4$ classes with $T(C) = 5$, and the symmetric doubleton $(-2, -1, 1, 2)$ with $T(C) = 6$), the arithmetic progression class $(-4, -3, -2, -1)$ ($T(C) = 6$, Row 17), and the unique maximal-collision class $(-3, -2, -1, 1)$ ($T(C) = 7$, Row 18, proved in Theorem 8), the maximum asymptotic no-three-in-line density in $[0, p-1]^2$ across all centers $(x_0, y_0) \in \mathbb{F}_p^2$ satisfies: $$\limsup_{p \to \infty} \max_{(x_0, y_0) \in \mathbb{F}_p^2} \frac{\alpha_{\mathrm{N3L}}\bigl(H_p(C; x_0, y_0)\bigr)}{p} \;\le\; c_{\max}(C) \;<\; \frac{9}{5} = 1.8.$$ Combined with the $39$ classes certified in [12], all $57$ of the $57$ canonical collision isomorphism classes ($100\%$) are certified globally strictly below $1.8$ across all centers $(x_0, y_0) \in \mathbb{F}_p^2$.

Proof
For Rows 1–16, verify_global_55_four_hyperbolas.py verifies in $100\%$ exact rational arithmetic (fractions.Fraction) that the 1D intervals cover $[0, t_{\mathrm{res}}]$ with $c_{\mathrm{first}}(b_j) - G_{1\mathrm{D}}(C; [a_j, b_j]) < 9/5$, checks via verify_tiling_partition that the sub-diagonal and diagonal 2D cells tile $[t_{\mathrm{res}}, 1/2]^2$ with zero gaps and zero overlaps, verifies all role-table ownership assignments and degree-$4$ Bernstein non-negativity invariants on every $\lambda$-subinterval, and certifies $c_{\mathrm{first}}(a_1) - \frac{1}{2}(G_{2\mathrm{D}}^{(-1)} + G_{2\mathrm{D}}^{(+1)}) < 9/5$ across both parity sheets $\sigma \in \{0, 1\}$ on every 2D cell. For Row 17 ((-4, -3, -2, -1), $T(C) = 6$), test_verify_56_global.py verifies two independent gap-free, overlap-free tilings of the entire phase square $[0, 1/2]^2$: a $205$-cell tiling for parity sheet $\sigma = 0$ and a $408$-cell tiling for parity sheet $\sigma = 1$ ($483$ cell-sheet records total in the reflected upper-triangle orientation $(I_+, I_-) = ([b_0, b_1], [a_0, a_1])$, with $40$ records at $B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 4$ and $443$ records at the cut-reduced tier $(B_{\mathrm{bin}}=8, k_b=4)$ on $\{-3, -2, -1, 2\}$, requiring zero $k_b = 5$ cells and peak worker VmHWM = 243.2 MiB), certifying every cell strictly below $9/5$. Row 18 ((-3, -2, -1, 1), $T(C) = 7$) is established in Theorem 8 below (verify_bottleneck_and_q4_ring.py and c57_subcell_certifier.py). By Theorem 5 (Diagonal Reflection Duality) and [1, Proposition (N1)–(N3)], this establishes the asymptotic upper bound across all centers $(x_0, y_0) \in \mathbb{F}_p^2$. $\square$
7. Finite-Resolution Certificates Across $B_{\mathrm{bin}} \in \{4, 8, 12, 16, 20\}$, Super-Modular First-Order Sub-Cell Majorization, and $100\%$ Global Certification of $(-3, -2, -1, 1)$
In earlier preliminary work at coarse bin count $B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 4$, the two maximal-collision classes $(-4, -3, -2, -1)$ ($T(C) = 6$) and $(-3, -2, -1, 1)$ ($T(C) = 7$) yielded upper bounds of $\approx 1.8032$ and $\approx 1.8075$ at the interior diagonal point $(t_+, t_-) = (29/100, 29/100)$. Evaluating the conditionally independent 2D root-difference phase-binned bound across uniform rational phase bins $W_m = [m/B_{\mathrm{bin}}, (m+1)/B_{\mathrm{bin}}]$ for finite resolutions $B_{\mathrm{bin}} \in \{4, 8, 12, 16, 20\}$ and introducing our Super-Modular First-Order Sub-Cell Lower Bound certifies $(-3, -2, -1, 1)$ globally across $100\%$ of $[0, 1/2]^2$ on both parity sheets $\sigma \in \{0, 1\}$:
Theorem 8 (Finite-Resolution Evaluation Across $B_{\mathrm{bin}} \in \{4, 8, 12, 16, 20\}$, Super-Modular First-Order Sub-Cell Lower Bound, and $100\%$ Global Certification of $(-3, -2, -1, 1)$)
For the maximal-collision classes $(-4, -3, -2, -1)$ ($T(C) = 6$) and $(-3, -2, -1, 1)$ ($T(C) = 7$) with all $|U_{\mathrm{shared}}| = 5$ shared coordinates binned ($k_b = 5$) across uniform bin counts $B_{\mathrm{bin}} \in \{4, 8, 12, 16, 20\}$:
- (Pointwise Finite-Resolution Evaluation at $(29/100, 29/100)$, Table 3): At $(t_+, t_-) = (29/100, 29/100)$ ($c_{\mathrm{first}}(29/100) = \frac{45810151279}{25000000000} = 1.83240605116$), $(-4, -3, -2, -1)$ crosses strictly below $1.8$ on both parity sheets at $B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 8$ ($\mathrm{ub}_0 = 1.79474896 < 1.8$, $\mathrm{ub}_1 = 1.79842712 < 1.8$) and reaches $\mathrm{ub}_0 = 1.79156473 < 1.8$, $\mathrm{ub}_1 = 1.79571464 < 1.8$ at $B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 16$. For $(-3, -2, -1, 1)$, parity sheet $\sigma = 1$ crosses strictly below $1.8$ starting at $B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 12$ ($\mathrm{ub}_1 = 1.79942805 < 1.8$, with the finite 2D cell $[19/64, 3/10]^2$ certified on $\sigma = 1$ at $B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 16$ with $\mathrm{ub}_1 = 1.79975550 < 1.8$), and both parity sheets cross strictly below $1.8$ at resolution $B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 20$, achieving $\mathrm{ub}_0 = 1.79950623 < 1.8$, $\mathrm{ub}_1 = 1.79815860 < 1.8$ at $(29/100, 29/100)$ and $\mathrm{ub}_0 = 1.79985298 < 1.8$, $\mathrm{ub}_1 = 1.79848718 < 1.8$ on the finite 2D cell $[289/1000, 29/100]^2$.
- (Reflected Upper-Triangle Orientation Asymmetry, Outer Continuous Coverage of $19/32 = 59.375\%$ of $[0, 1/2]^2$, and $1/16$-Grid Certification): Applying Theorem 5's vertical reflection collineation $\rho(x, y) = (x, p - 1 - y)$ to any sub-diagonal point $(t_+, t_-)$ with $t_- < t_+$ maps it to $(t_-, t_+)$ in the upper triangle $0 \le t_+' < t_-' \le 1/2$, where Stage 1 uses the strictly smaller baseline $c_{\mathrm{first}}(t_-) < c_{\mathrm{first}}(t_+)$. At $(2/5, 7/25)$ for $(-3, -2, -1, 1)$ ($B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 8$), evaluating in the reflected upper-triangle orientation $(7/25, 2/5)$ lowers $(\mathrm{ub}_0, \mathrm{ub}_1)$ from $(1.79970540, 1.79953727)$ to $(1.79909509, 1.79825537)$. Combining the $4$-interval 1D exterior cross $[0, 13/128]$ ($U_{\mathrm{bin}} = \{2\}, B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 4$, $\max \mathrm{ub}_{1\mathrm{D}} = 1.79933240 < 1.8$) with $54$ reflected upper-triangle 2D cells covering $[3/32, 11/64] \times [3/32, 1/2]$ at $B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 4$ ($7$ cells at $k_b = 3$ on $[3/32, 1/8]$, $14$ cells at $k_b = 5$ on $[1/8, 5/32]$, and $33$ cells at $k_b = 5$ on $[5/32, 11/64]$, $\max \mathrm{ub} = 1.79997746 < 1.8$) certifies the exterior cross $([0, 11/64] \times [0, 1/2]) \cup ([0, 1/2] \times [0, 11/64])$ ($\frac{583}{1024} = 56.93\%$ of $[0, 1/2]^2$), and $15$ reflected $1/64$-cells at $B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 8$ certify the upper-right square $[27/64, 1/2]^2$ ($\frac{25}{1024} = 2.44\%$, $\max \mathrm{ub} = 1.79954263 < 1.8$), covering $\frac{19}{32} = 59.375\%$ of $[0, 1/2]^2$ and leaving the L-shaped interior domain $(11/64, 1/2]^2 \setminus [27/64, 1/2]^2$ ($\frac{416}{1024} = 40.625\%$). Across all $28$ upper-triangle $1/16$-grid vertices on $[1/8, 1/2]^2$, $25/28$ cross below $1.8$ at $B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 8$ ($\max \mathrm{ub} = 1.79995108$), $2/28$ at $B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 12$ ($\max \mathrm{ub} = 1.79992498$), and $(5/16, 5/16)$ at $B_{\mathrm{bin}} = 16$ ($\max \mathrm{ub} = 1.79963893$).
- (Super-Modular First-Order Sub-Cell Lower Bound): Fix a coarse 2D cell $Q = I_+ \times I_- = [a_0, a_1] \times [b_0, b_1] \subseteq [0, 1/2]^2$, a parity sheet $\sigma \in \{0, 1\}$, a branch $\epsilon \in \{-1, +1\}$, and a bin resolution $B_{\mathrm{bin}}$. Let $v^{(Q)} = (s_{1, k}^{(Q)}, b_k^{(Q)})\_{k \in \mathcal{K}}$ denote the collection of coarse 1-root tail polynomials on $\lambda \in [\lambda_{\min}(Q), 1]$ ($\lambda_{\min}(Q) = b_1$), and let $\mathcal{G}(v) := \int_{\lambda_{\min}(Q)}^1 \sum_{\mathbf{I}, \mathbf{b}} w(\mathbf{I}, \mathbf{b})\,\Psi((v_{k_c}(\lambda))_{c \in C_{\mathrm{act}}})\,d\lambda$ denote the compiled 4-tuple saving functional, where $\Psi((s_{1, i}, b_i)_{i=1}^4) = \mathbb{E}[\frac{1}{2}(\sum_{i=1}^4 K_i - 4)_+]$. Then for every sub-cell $Q' = I_+' \times I_-' = [a_0', a_1'] \times [b_0', b_1'] \subseteq Q$, the sub-cell saving $G_{2\mathrm{D}}^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}(C; Q')$ is bounded below by the exact first-order linear functional around $v^{(Q)}$: $$G_{2\mathrm{D}}^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}(C; Q') \;\ge\; \mathcal{G}\bigl(v^{(Q')}\bigr) \;\ge\; \mathcal{G}_1(Q'; Q) \;:=\; \Bigl(\mathcal{G}\bigl(v^{(Q)}\bigr) - D\mathcal{G}\bigl(v^{(Q)}\bigr)\bigl[v^{(Q)}\bigr]\Bigr) + D\mathcal{G}\bigl(v^{(Q)}\bigr)\bigl[v^{(Q')}\bigr],$$ where $D\mathcal{G}(v^{(Q)})[v^{(Q')}]$ is linear in the single-root sub-cell integrals $v^{(Q')} = (s_{1, k}^{(Q')}, b_k^{(Q')})$.

Proof
Parts (1)–(2) are verified in exact rational arithmetic by verify_bottleneck_and_q4_ring.py. For Part (3), let $Q' = I_+' \times I_-' \subseteq Q = I_+ \times I_-$. Since $\lambda_{\min}(Q') = b_1' \le b_1 = \lambda_{\min}(Q)$ and the integrand of $G_{2\mathrm{D}}^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}(C; Q')$ is pointwise non-negative, restricting the lower limit of integration on $Q'$ from $b_1'$ to $b_1 = \lambda_{\min}(Q)$ gives $G_{2\mathrm{D}}^{(\epsilon, \sigma)}(C; Q') \ge \mathcal{G}(v^{(Q')})$. Moreover, narrowing $I_+' \subseteq I_+$ increases every survival function $q^{\mathrm{surv}}_{\mathrm{st}, \epsilon}(L; I_+') \ge q^{\mathrm{surv}}_{\mathrm{st}, \epsilon}(L; I_+) \ge 0$ pointwise (since $h_{\mathrm{hi}}(L; I_+') \ge h_{\mathrm{hi}}(L; I_+)$, $h_{\mathrm{lo}}(L; I_+') \le h_{\mathrm{lo}}(L; I_+)$, $\tau_{i, m}(I_+') \ge \tau_{i, m}(I_+)$, and $\mathrm{win}_\epsilon(\lambda; I_+') \ge \mathrm{win}_\epsilon(\lambda; I_+)$), while narrowing $I_-' \subseteq I_-$ increases the lower envelopes $L_{\min}^-(\tilde{w}; I_-') \ge L_{\min}^-(\tilde{w}; I_-)$, $L_{\max}^-(\tilde{w}; I_-') \ge L_{\max}^-(\tilde{w}; I_-)$ and decreases the upper envelopes $L_{\min}^+(\tilde{w}; I_-') \le L_{\min}^+(\tilde{w}; I_-)$, $L_{\max}^+(\tilde{w}; I_-') \le L_{\max}^+(\tilde{w}; I_-)$ pointwise for all $\tilde{w} \in [0, 1]$. Since $q^{\mathrm{surv}}_{\mathrm{st}, \epsilon}(L; I_+')$ is non-increasing in $L$, it follows that for every key $k$ and every $\lambda \in [\lambda_{\min}(Q), 1]$,
$$s_{1, k}^{(Q')}(\lambda) \;\ge\; s_{1, k}^{(Q)}(\lambda) \;\ge\; 0, \qquad b_k^{(Q')}(\lambda) \;\ge\; b_k^{(Q)}(\lambda) \;\ge\; 0,$$
and both $v_k^{(Q')}(\lambda)$ and $v_k^{(Q)}(\lambda)$ are valid probability distributions on $\{0, 1, 2\}$ (since $L_{\min}^+(\tilde{w}) \le L_{\max}^+(\tilde{w})$ and $q^{\mathrm{surv}} \in [0, 1]$ is non-increasing, so $a_k(\lambda) = s_{1, k}(\lambda) - b_k(\lambda) \ge 0$ and $1 - s_{1, k}(\lambda) \ge 0$ pointwise). Hence $K_i'(\lambda) \succeq_{\mathrm{st}} K_i(\lambda)$ in first-order stochastic dominance on $\{0, 1, 2\}$ for each active color $i \in \{1, 2, 3, 4\}$. Expanding $\Psi(v'_1, v'_2, v'_3, v'_4) - \Psi(v_1, v_2, v_3, v_4)$ telescopically one color at a time and using multilinearity of $\Psi$ in each single-color law $v_i = (s_{1, i}, b_i)$ gives
$$\Psi(v') - \Psi(v) \;=\; \sum_{i=1}^4 \Bigl(\Psi(v'_1, \dots, v'_i, v_{i+1}, \dots, v_4) - \Psi(v'_1, \dots, v'_{i-1}, v_i, v_{i+1}, \dots, v_4)\Bigr) \;=\; \sum_{i=1}^4 \left[(s'_{1, i} - s_{1, i})\,\frac{1}{2}\Pr\bigl(S_{-i}^{(i)} \ge 4\bigr) + (b'_i - b_i)\,\frac{1}{2}\Pr\bigl(S_{-i}^{(i)} \ge 3\bigr)\right],$$
where $S_{-i}^{(i)} = \sum_{j < i} K'_j + \sum_{j > i} K_j$. Because $K'_j \succeq_{\mathrm{st}} K_j$ for all $j < i$ and the three summands of $S_{-i}^{(i)}$ are mutually independent, $S_{-i}^{(i)} \succeq_{\mathrm{st}} S_{-i}^{(0)} := \sum_{j \neq i} K_j$, so $\frac{1}{2}\Pr(S_{-i}^{(i)} \ge 4) \ge \frac{1}{2}\Pr(S_{-i}^{(0)} \ge 4) = \frac{\partial \Psi}{\partial s_{1, i}}(v)$ and $\frac{1}{2}\Pr(S_{-i}^{(i)} \ge 3) \ge \frac{1}{2}\Pr(S_{-i}^{(0)} \ge 3) = \frac{\partial \Psi}{\partial b_i}(v)$. Since $s'_{1, i} - s_{1, i} \ge 0$ and $b'_i - b_i \ge 0$, every term is bounded below by $(s'_{1, i} - s_{1, i})\frac{\partial \Psi}{\partial s_{1, i}}(v) + (b'_i - b_i)\frac{\partial \Psi}{\partial b_i}(v)$, establishing $\Psi(v') \ge \Psi(v) + D\Psi(v)[v' - v]$ pointwise and $\mathcal{G}(v^{(Q')}) \ge \mathcal{G}_1(Q'; Q)$.
For Part (4), on each coarse elementary $\lambda$-subinterval $[A_S, B_S]$ of $Q$, the partial derivatives $\frac{\partial \Psi}{\partial s_{1, i}}(v^{(Q)}(\lambda))$ and $\frac{\partial \Psi}{\partial b_i}(v^{(Q)}(\lambda))$ are degree-$3$ products of degree-$\le 4$ polynomials and thus have degree $\le 12$ in $\lambda$. In c57_subcell_certifier.py, compute_chunked_grad_coeffs_13 processes the coarse $\lambda$-subintervals in low-memory chunks of $8$ intervals, evaluating these partial derivatives at the $13$ equispaced nodes $u_q = q/12$ ($q = 0, \dots, 12$) on $[A_S, B_S]$ over key equivalence classes (k_to_jcid, keyed by coarse law ID, $(\mathrm{is\_cond}, m_{\mathrm{bin}})$, and $7$ corner/midpoint $1/32$-subcell probes, with non-negativity of all accumulated class derivatives asserted at every node via assert min(D_s1[c]) >= 0 and min(D_b[c]) >= 0) and converting them via the exact $13 \times 13$ rational Lagrange inversion matrix $L^{(12)}$ (build_lagrange_12) to exact degree-$12$ polynomial tuples. Crucially, to guarantee that assigning the non-negative summed class derivative $\sum_{k \in E_c} D_k\mathcal{G}(v^{(Q)})$ to a single representative polynomial law is $100\%$ unconditional on every descendant sub-cell $Q'$, prep_tp_slice_grad records all constituent canonical state triples $\mathrm{st} \in E_c$ (st_m_all_sts) and invokes resolve_verified_q_tup on every $t_+$-slice and every active $(m_{\mathrm{bin}}, z_i, k_{\max})$ pair: when all constituent states have identical convolved blocker laws (len(q_cands) == 1), it uses that exact cubic polynomial; and in the rare case (len(q_cands) > 1, e.g. inside the coarse zero-law class) where constituent states differ on a zone, it selects q_max on the coarse cell $Q$ (upper_for_coarse=True, upper-bounding $D\mathcal{G}(v^{(Q)})[v^{(Q)}]$) and q_min on every sub-cell $Q'$ (upper_for_coarse=False, lower-bounding $D\mathcal{G}(v^{(Q)})[v^{(Q')}]$) and verifies via assert_q_eq_or_dom that the difference against every constituent polynomial has all $4$ cubic Bernstein control points $(B_0, B_1, B_2, B_3) \ge 0$ on $[L_{\mathrm{knots}}[z_i], L_{\mathrm{knots}}[z_i + 1]]$. Finally, eval_tm_subcell_linear_term integrates the coarse degree-$12$ gradient against the degree-$\le 4$ sub-cell polynomials $v^{(Q')}(\lambda)$ in exact rational arithmetic (L17_LCM = lcm(1, ..., 17)). All $5,165$ leaf sub-cell rectangles (3,037 on $\sigma = 0$ and 2,128 on $\sigma = 1$) and their exact rational upper bounds are archived in c57_global_216_certs.json and verified for exact dyadic partition coverage (verify_subcell_partition) and $< 9/5$ bounds in c57_subcell_certifier.py. $\square$
Numerical Observation on Finite-Resolution Scaling: Across the evaluated finite resolutions $B_{\mathrm{bin}} \in \{4, 8, 12, 16, 20\}$ in Table 3, the step-cap discretization slack decreases monotonically as $B_{\mathrm{bin}}$ increases (empirically following the numerical fit $\mathrm{ub}_0 \approx 1.79725 + 0.0450/B_{\mathrm{bin}}$ on $\sigma = 0$ for $(-3, -2, -1, 1)$). Only the finite rational evaluations in Tables 2–4 are used as rigorous certificates; we do not assert an analytic $B_{\mathrm{bin}} \to \infty$ rate theorem.
8. On-Conic Central Double-Annihilation and Finite Off-Conic Swap-Surgery Extensions for the q=4 Conic Ring (no_three_in_line_38)
In no_three_in_line_38 [13] (see also [14] for the $\theta \to 4$ doubling-ladder capacity boundary at $(A, B) = (0, 0)$, [15] for close-pair incidence bounds on rounded hyperbolas, and [16] for the line-constant colouring barrier on pure fibre masks), u/cedar_conics and u/lattice_lift_research introduced the $6(p-1)$-point perimeter conic-ring configuration $R(t) \subset [0, 4p)^2 \setminus [p, 3p)^2$ on the $12$ perimeter $p \times p$ tiles of $[0, 4p)^2$ by lifting the modular hyperbola $H_c = \{(x, y) \in \mathbb{F}_p^2 : xy \equiv c \pmod p\}$ ($c \in \mathbb{F}_p^\times$) with the two complementary $6$-point perimeter fibre masks
$$M_0 \;=\; \{(0, 0),\, (0, 2),\, (1, 3),\, (2, 0),\, (3, 1),\, (3, 3)\}, \qquad M_1 \;=\; \{(0, 1),\, (0, 3),\, (1, 0),\, (2, 3),\, (3, 0),\, (3, 2)\}$$
in $\{0, 1, 2, 3\}^2 \setminus \{1, 2\}^2$, governed by the sheet selector $s(u) = (t(u) - x_u - y_u) \bmod 2 \in \{0, 1\}$ over $\mathbb{F}_p^\times \setminus E$, where $t : \mathbb{F}_p^\times \setminus E \to \{0, 1\}$ is a proper $2$-coloring of the involutive secant conflict graph (with independent orientation freedom across $\langle -1, 3 \rangle$-coset pairs). Paper [13] also established the $(2, 1, 1, 2)$ row/column occupancy of $M_0, M_1$ (leaving residual axis capacity $1$ on each occupied inner line $X, Y \in [p, 3p) \setminus \{p, 2p\}$) and constructed a $440$-point finite augmentation at $p = 73$. Building on those foundations of [13], we prove an exact algebraic double-blocking theorem governing all four on-conic central sheets over every unpunctured fibre and construct new finite off-conic zero-deletion and swap-surgery witnesses exceeding $\frac{3}{2}N = 6p$ across $p \in \{37, 61, 73, 97, 109, 181\}$:
Theorem 9 (On-Conic Central Double-Annihilation and Finite Off-Conic Swap-Surgery Extensions for the $q=4$ Conic Ring)
Let $p \ge 5$ be prime, let $c \in \mathbb{F}_p^\times$, and for each $u \in \mathbb{F}_p^\times$ let $(x_u, y_u) \in \{1, \dots, p-1\}^2$ be the unique integer representative of $(u, c u^{-1} \bmod p)$. Let $R(t) \subset [0, 4p)^2 \setminus [p, 3p)^2$ be any valid no-three-in-line perimeter conic-ring configuration over $\mathbb{F}_p^\times \setminus E$ with fibres $M_{s(u)}$. For any unpunctured fibre $u \in \mathbb{F}_p^\times \setminus E$, define its slope-$+1$ and slope-$-1$ involutive partner fibres $$u_+ \;:=\; -c u^{-1} \equiv -y_u \pmod p, \qquad u_- \;:=\; +c u^{-1} \equiv +y_u \pmod p.$$ Then whenever $u_+, u_- \notin E$:
- (Zero-Carry Euclidean Partner Identities and $8$-Point Intra-Fibre Cap): Inside a single $4 \times 4$ fibre $F_u$, adding both opposite-parity central cells $M_{s(u)}^{\mathrm{opp}} = \{(i, j) \in \{1, 2\}^2 : i + j \equiv 1 - s(u) \pmod 2\}$ to $M_{s(u)}$ forms an exact $8$-point cap $M_{s(u)} \cup M_{s(u)}^{\mathrm{opp}}$ in $[0, 4)^2$ with zero axis or intra-fibre conflicts. Meanwhile, the integer coordinates of $u_+$ and $u_-$ satisfy the exact Euclidean identities $$(x_{u_+},\, y_{u_+}) \;=\; (p - y_u,\, p - x_u), \qquad (x_{u_-},\, y_{u_-}) \;=\; (y_u,\, x_u),$$ giving $x_{u_+} - y_{u_+} = x_u - y_u$ (zero carry on slope $+1$), $x_{u_-} + y_{u_-} = x_u + y_u$ (zero carry on slope $-1$), and $x_{u_\pm} + y_{u_\pm} \equiv x_u + y_u \pmod 2$.
- (Forced Opposite Sheet Selector of Involutive Partners): Since $\{u, u_+\}$ and $\{u, u_-\}$ are edges of the involutive bipartite conflict graph ($t(u_+) = t(u_-) = 1 - t(u)$) and $x_{u_\pm} + y_{u_\pm} \equiv x_u + y_u \pmod 2$, the sheet selector $s(v) = (t(v) - x_v - y_v) \bmod 2$ deterministically flips on both partners: $$s(u_+) \;=\; 1 - s(u), \qquad s(u_-) \;=\; 1 - s(u).$$
- (Simultaneous Double-Annihilation of All Four Central Conic Sheets): For both $s(u) = 0$ and $s(u) = 1$, every one of the $4$ central conic points $P_{u; i, j} = (x_u + p i, y_u + p j) \in [p, 3p)^2$ for $(i, j) \in \{1, 2\}^2$ is simultaneously collinear with a slope-$+1$ secant and a slope-$-1$ secant of $R(t)$:
- If $i + j \equiv s(u) \pmod 2$, both blocking secants lie in the same fibre $M_{s(u)}(u)$.
- If $i + j \equiv 1 - s(u) \pmod 2$, the slope-$+1$ blocking secant lies in the partner fibre $M_{s(u_+)}(u_+)$ and the slope-$-1$ blocking secant lies in the partner fibre $M_{s(u_-)}(u_-)$.
- (Verified Finite Off-Conic Zero-Deletion and Swap-Surgery Caps Exceeding $\frac{3}{2}N = 6p$): Because each occupied inner line $X, Y \in [p, 3p) \setminus \{p, 2p\}$ carries only $1$ perimeter point of $R(t)$ ([13]), off-conic central points $z \in [p, 3p)^2 \setminus H_c$ that survive all outer secants of $R(t)$ can be added with zero perimeter deletions (up to $1$ per inner row/column, or $2$ on $X, Y \in \{p, 2p\}$), and deleting an inner-border perimeter point $P \in R(t)$ simultaneously severs blocking outer secants and raises its inner row/column central-hole capacity from $1$ to $2$. Optimizing over $\langle -1, 3 \rangle$-coset orientations [13] and applying swap surgery yields exact, verified no-three-in-line caps in $[0, 4p)^2$ ($N = 4p$) strictly exceeding $\frac{3}{2}N = 6p$ across all six tested primes $p \in \{37, 61, 73, 97, 109, 181\}$ (plus $74 > 72 = 6(p-1)$ at $p = 13$):
- $p = 13, c = 2$ ($N = 52$, $6(p-1) = 72$, $\frac{3}{2}N = 78$): $2$ zero-hit central survivors, $|T_0| = 2 \implies \mathbf{74}$ points ($+2$ over $6(p-1)$).
- $p = 37, c = 2$ ($N = 148$, $6(p-1) = 216$, $\frac{3}{2}N = 222$): $10$ zero-hit central survivors, $|T_0| = 8 \implies \mathbf{224 > 222 = \frac{3}{2}N}$ ($+2$ over $\frac{3}{2}N$).

Proof
For (1), exhaustive verification confirms that $M_0 \cup \{(1, 2), (2, 1)\}$ and $M_1 \cup \{(1, 1), (2, 2)\}$ are $8$-point caps in $[0, 4)^2$. Since $x_u, y_u \in \{1, \dots, p-1\}$ satisfy $x_u y_u \equiv c \pmod p$, we have $p - y_u \in \{1, \dots, p-1\}$ and $p - x_u \in \{1, \dots, p-1\}$ with $p - y_u \equiv -y_u \equiv u_+ \pmod p$ and $(p - y_u)(p - x_u) \equiv y_u x_u \equiv c \pmod p$, giving $(x_{u_+}, y_{u_+}) = (p - y_u, p - x_u)$ and $x_{u_+} - y_{u_+} = (p - y_u) - (p - x_u) = x_u - y_u$. Similarly, $(x_{u_-}, y_{u_-}) = (y_u, x_u)$ satisfies $x_{u_-} + y_{u_-} = x_u + y_u$. Moreover, $x_{u_+} + y_{u_+} = 2p - (x_u + y_u) \equiv x_u + y_u \pmod 2$, proving (1) and (2).
For (3), in $M_0 = \{(0, 0), (0, 2), (1, 3), (2, 0), (3, 1), (3, 3)\}$, the two even-sum central cells $(1, 1)$ and $(2, 2)$ lie on the slope-$+1$ secant $\{(0, 0), (3, 3)\} \subset M_0$ ($i - j = 0$), while $(1, 1)$ lies on the slope-$-1$ secant $\{(0, 2), (2, 0)\} \subset M_0$ ($i + j = 2$) and $(2, 2)$ lies on the slope-$-1$ secant $\{(1, 3), (3, 1)\} \subset M_0$ ($i + j = 4$). Symmetrically, in $M_1 = \{(0, 1), (0, 3), (1, 0), (2, 3), (3, 0), (3, 2)\}$, the two odd-sum central cells $(1, 2)$ and $(2, 1)$ lie on the slope-$-1$ secant $\{(0, 3), (3, 0)\} \subset M_1$ ($i + j = 3$), while $(1, 2)$ lies on the slope-$+1$ secant $\{(0, 1), (2, 3)\} \subset M_1$ ($i - j = -1$) and $(2, 1)$ lies on the slope-$+1$ secant $\{(1, 0), (3, 2)\} \subset M_1$ ($i - j = +1$). Thus, whenever $i + j \equiv s(u) \pmod 2$, $P_{u; i, j}$ is doubly blocked by a slope-$+1$ secant and a slope-$-1$ secant inside its own fibre $M_{s(u)}(u)$. Whenever $i + j \equiv 1 - s(u) \pmod 2$, we have $s(u_+) = s(u_-) = 1 - s(u) \equiv i + j \pmod 2$; since $x_{u_+} - y_{u_+} = x_u - y_u$, the slope-$+1$ secant in $M_{s(u_+)}(u_+)$ with digit difference $i - j$ has the exact same Euclidean intercept $(x_{u_+} - y_{u_+}) + p(i - j) = (x_u - y_u) + p(i - j)$ as $P_{u; i, j}$, and since $x_{u_-} + y_{u_-} = x_u + y_u$, the slope-$-1$ secant in $M_{s(u_-)}(u_-)$ with digit sum $i + j$ has the exact same Euclidean intercept $(x_{u_-} + y_{u_-}) + p(i + j) = (x_u + y_u) + p(i + j)$ as $P_{u; i, j}$. Part (4) is verified in exact integer arithmetic by verify_bottleneck_and_q4_ring.py, which checks all pairwise canonical directions across the full point sets in $[0, 4p)^2$. $\square$
Empirical Observation on Central-Hole Secant Hit Counts: Across the tested full-ring primes $p \in \{13, 37, 61, 73, 97, 109, 181\}$, the empirical mean number of outer-ring secant lines hitting a central-hole lattice point $z \in [p, 3p)^2$ ($4p^2$ points total) is $\bar{\mu}(p) = \alpha_{\mathrm{eff}}(p)\,\ln p$ with $\alpha_{\mathrm{eff}}(p) \in [1.51, 1.61]$ (specifically $\bar{\mu}(p) = 4.06, 5.83, 6.36, 6.74, 7.35, 7.08, 7.99$), while the empirical counts $(N_0(p), N_1(p))$ of $0$-hit and $1$-hit central points are $(2, 16), (10, 45), (20, 115), (16, 126), (10, 122), (30, 229), (36, 283)$ and the maximum number of $1$-hit central cells unlocked by any single perimeter point is $d_{\max}(p) \in \{2, 3, 4, 5\}$. Note that this empirical $\bar{\mu}(p) \approx 1.57\ln p$ scaling is a numerical observation rather than an asymptotic theorem: not every perimeter pair with $\gcd(\Delta x, \Delta y) = g$ meets the central hole $[p, 3p)^2$ (for instance, outer-column vertical pairs $(u, v), (u, v + 2p)$ in $M_0$ have $g = 2p$ but lie on $x = u < p$ outside $[p, 3p)^2$), and secants of $R(t)$ exhibit algebraic dependencies.

9.2 Scope Limitations and Remaining Open Frontier
All upper bounds in Sections 1–7 are support-restricted bounds for four-level axis-aligned modular hyperbola unions $H_p(C; x_0, y_0)$ addressing Open Cell 10 of [3]; neither these support-restricted upper bounds nor the finite $q = 4$ conic-ring augmentations of Section 8 (which establish finite existence claims only at the tested primes) resolve the general unrestricted $1.8n$ no-three-in-line problem on $\{0, \dots, n-1\}^2$. Within Open Cell 10, combining the $39$ classes certified in [12] with the $18$ classes certified in Theorems 7–8 (Table 2, Rows 1–18, including the $216$-cell certification of the L-shaped interior $(11/64, 1/2]^2 \setminus [27/64, 1/2]^2$ across both parity sheets $\sigma \in \{0, 1\}$ for $(-3, -2, -1, 1)$ in Table 4) completes $57$ of the $57$ canonical collision isomorphism classes ($100\%$) globally across $[0, 1/2]^2$ and across all centers $(x_0, y_0) \in \mathbb{F}_p^2$. Extending these multi-level phase-binning and super-modular sub-cell majorization techniques to five-level modular hyperbola unions ($|C| = 5$) or general non-hyperbolic carriers remains open.

The update makes a sound, substantive extension of the accepted result: it closes the remaining continuous phase region for $C=(-3,-2,-1,1)$ on both parity sheets. Together with the previously accepted certificates, this completes the support-restricted obstruction for all 57 four-hyperbola collision classes. The distinction from [12], which establishes 39 global classes and all-class peak-square coverage, is clear. Completing the last unresolved class with a justified computational method is meaningful progress on the construction route identified in [3]. The unrestricted no-three-in-line problem remains open, and this version does not meet its solve definition.
The new argument in Theorem 8(3) is convincing. Narrowing a phase cell increases both tail coordinates of each proxy law. For $S_{-i}=\sum_{j\ne i}K_j$, the derivatives are
$$ \frac{\partial\Psi}{\partial s_{1,i}}=\frac12\Pr(S_{-i}\ge4), \qquad \frac{\partial\Psi}{\partial b_i}=\frac12\Pr(S_{-i}\ge3). $$These probabilities increase under the independent stochastic improvements of the other colors, establishing the stated first-order lower bound by telescoping. Restricting the subcell integral to the coarse integration interval also preserves the required inequality. The degree bound justifies exact reconstruction of the gradient from 13 nodes and exact integration of its product with the subcell laws. The implementation's constituent-law equality or Bernstein-domination checks address the potential failure of merged states to remain equivalent on descendants. Choosing an upper envelope for the subtracted coarse term and a lower envelope for the added subcell term has the correct conservative direction.
I independently checked the archived leaf bounds and reflected coverage using rational interval sweeps. On each sheet, the leaves cover the remaining L-shaped domain, of area $13/128$, or $40.625\%$ of the phase square. The counts and maxima agree with Table 4. The default archive audit and its two live reverse-AD checks passed. More importantly, from-scratch regeneration reproduced the exact archived maxima for $Q_{18,19}$ on $\sigma=0$ at resolution 20, with 148 leaves, and $Q_{19,19}$ on $\sigma=1$ at resolution 12, with 121 leaves. Their bounds are approximately $1.7999992723$ and $1.7999998625$. These are exact rational threshold certificates despite their small margins. I did not regenerate every cell; the remaining assessment rests on the proof, implementation inspection, retained certificates and coverage audit.
The revised domain description, table numbering, reference [8], and explicit separation of support-restricted bounds from finite ring examples improve the accepted presentation. Two corrections remain appropriate:
- Fix the single-cell regeneration dispatch.
recompute_single_cell_from_scratchtests method namescoarse_B8anddirect_4tuple_2x2, whereas the archive usescoarse_1_64_B8,exact_subcell_2x1_B8andexact_subcell_2x2_B8. Consequently, direct-subdivision records fall through to the first-order algorithm. For example,--cell 12,12 --sigma 0fails the archived-maximum equality assertion after computing a different valid bound. I separately evaluated both archived rectangles with the direct evaluator and reproduced their rational bounds exactly, including the Table 4 maximum $1.79999216\ldots$. This is a reproducibility-interface defect, not evidence against those bounds. Dispatch on the actual labels and reproduce the archived direct leaves; the current promise of exact regeneration of any cell is too broad. - Tighten the new wording and notation. In the abstract, replace the one-dimensional shorthand $[0,11/64]$ with the exterior cross or name that cross explicitly. Describe the state grouping as verified equality/domination on descendants, since some merged states do differ there. Correct the escaped underscore in the definition of $v^{(Q)}$ to an ordinary mathematical subscript. Keep the distinction between archive auditing and numerical regeneration explicit in verifier output as well as Section 9.1.
