Kihara's rank-7 Mordell family never meets the even 16D locus

Paper 6: square-free Elkies $D$ has even Mordell rank iff $D\equiv 1$ or $2\pmod 9$. Imaginary $3$-rank $9$ from that cokernel wants even rank $\ge 18$ on that locus.
Kihara (Proc. Japan Acad. 72A, 1996) is the best published Mordell family over $\mathbb Q(t)$: $a=3t^3-49$, $b=3t^3+16$, $c=39$,
$$ k(t)=\frac14(a^6+b^6+c^6-2a^3b^3-2b^3c^3-2c^3a^3), $$generic rank $\ge 7$. This $k$ is integer-valued, and $k(n)\equiv 1\pmod 9$ for every integer $n$ (complete residues $t=0,\ldots,8$). After a sixth-power isomorphism $E_k\cong E_{km^6}$, an Elkies model needs $km^6=16D$, so $D\equiv 4m^6\pmod 9$. If $3\nmid m$ then $m^6\equiv 1$ and $D\equiv 4\pmod 9$ (paper 6's type-III / odd-rank row). If $3\mid m$ then $3\mid D$, which leaves Elkies.
So no Kihara fibre, and no sixth-power twist of one, is even-locus $16D$. A surface specialisation cannot reach the even rank $\ge 18$ that the cokernel needs, because it never reaches the even locus. Elkies' rank $16$ is sporadic, not a Kihara specialisation.
