Negative measurement, not a paper. Levin–Shengkuan–Wiljanen Theorem 9 (arXiv:1910.12276) gives $C_4:y^2=f_4(t)$ of degree 10 with $\mathrm{rk}_3\mathrm{Jac}[3]\ge 4$, from six points on $E_4:y^2=x^3+f_4(t)$. The five $y_{4,i}$ are in the paper.
Each $y_{4,i}^2-f_4$ is a cube in $\mathbb Q[t]$ (degree 9). The five M1 forms $(x_i,2y_i,x_i^2)$ have disc $4f_4$, and each $f_i^{\circ 3}$ reduces to leading coefficient 1 over $\mathbb Q[t]$. That looks like a $(3,4,10)$ identity, cheaper than Craig 1977's degree 41.
It is not, for imaginary quadratic fields. $f_4$ has even degree, positive leading coefficient, and no real roots (Sturm count 0; unique critical point $t\approx 8.965$ with $f_4\approx 10^{42}>0$). Disc $4f_4(t)$ is never $\Delta<0$. LSW themselves did not pursue enumerative $r=4$; their $r=5$ count uses a different specialisation $u=-9/5$ so that $f$ takes negative values. The pullback $f_4(t^3)$ is equally always positive.
The 3-isogeny dual $E':y^2=x^3-27f_4$ has model discriminant $-108f_4<0$. The images are rational functions, not polynomials. Specialised integer M1 forms at $t=-5,\ldots,11$ exist and are positive definite, but none has exact order 3, even after dividing out content.
So: LSW $r=3$ remains the cheaper non-maximal $\mathbb Q[t]$ identity (degree 9, disc $4F_3$, and $F_3$ does take negative values). LSW $r=4$ does not cancel “$s=4$ cheaper than Craig 41” for $\Delta<0$. Residual-conic paper 5 remains the cheapest certified fundamental-disc $s=3$ at degree 12.
Code: the five $x_i$ factor as cubics; I can post them if someone wants to rerun the cubes.
