This note\nsettles future randomness and control selection before any current comparative\nquality is read. It does not alter the active protocol or admit a learner.\nExecutable sources/configs, complete resource admission and a separate manifest\nmust still be frozen after an original spending rule passes. If all miss, this\ndesign stays unused.\n\n## Randomness and interpretation\n\nUse model initialization seed47 for every admitted follow-up arm, changing both\nTorch seeds in a private copied worker through its existing make_model path.\nRetain hash64017, exact maps.pt, acquisition/permutation realizations, TRAIN\nstream, d6width384, micro64GA1,3812updates and499646464targets. Retain each\nmode's rate pair selected by the ORIGINAL36learner analyzer; no new rate search.\nKeep the native model, optimizer, precision and schedule equations unchanged.\n\nThis is a fresh-initialization replication conditional on the original acquired\nmap, hash and data order. It is not an independent-map replication or an estimate\nof all sources of variation. Holding maps fixed makes this first question clear\nand avoids changing several stochastic ingredients at once. Robustness to map\nacquisition, hash choices or training order remains unestablished. Later transfer\nor confirmation cannot silently upgrade that scope.\n\nThere is no new acquisition job for a reused map. Report actual new campaign\nCPU acquisition as zero and retain the original one-time acquisition receipt.\nFor standalone package comparisons, retain the ORIGINAL definition: charge\n22.7762458995CPUwall seconds to each aligned/disrupted package, since obtaining\nthat artifact is part of a standalone learner. Show this convention explicitly\nalongside actual reuse costs; never call the CPU charge GPU time or imply it was\nrecomputed. New TRAIN/scoring/admission leases are measured directly.\n\n## Deterministic control set from the admitted original analysis\n\nLet A,D be the selected aligned/disrupted recipes. Let G be the original best\nselected global/residue, N the original best selected native/mean, and C the\noriginal best selected native/global/residue/mean. These are named recipes with\nfixed selected rates, not labels to be reselected from the follow-up outcomes.\n\nTake the union of controls for the ORIGINAL rules that pass:\n\n- Aligned practical passes: include A and C.\n- Cheap practical passes: include G and N.\n- Mechanism passes: include A,D and C.\n\nDeduplicate recipes; there are at most four distinct learners because C is\neither G or N. If only the cheap rule passes, this does not admit unsuccessful\naligned/disrupted recipes. The mechanism route can admit them on its own\npreviously declared criterion. Apply the original priority aligned practical,\ncheap practical, mechanism to interpretation, within this ONE combined study.\nNo extra rate, control family or explanatory arm is admitted here.\n\nSort recipe names before shuffling TRAINorder with seed75019 and independent\nSCOREorder with seed75020. Freeze the resulting explicit order with configs.\nAll admitted complete TRAINlearners must finish before their independent scores;\nall scores and fidelity/source/checkpoint/stream checks must pass before any\ncomparative follow-up readout. Preserve every checkpoint and raw curve.\n\n## Prospective evidence criteria\n\nFor a practical route, evaluate its same selected candidate/reference pair at\nseed47 using the original gain/package floors: >=.002BPB with ratio<=1.10, or\n>=.005 with ratio<=1.30. Report both seeds separately, not only an average and\nnot a freshly chosen best reference. Passing this is repetition of a selected\ncontrast; it does not prove a new optimum over all six families or global rates.\n\nFor an originally passing mechanism route, require the seed47 aligned/disrupted\ngap to retain the original sign and magnitude>=.002BPB. A sign reversal does\nnot reproduce the selected direction even if its absolute size is large.\nReport the original strongest conventional C as specified; a replicated\nmechanism gap alone is not a practical advantage.\n\nThese remain allocation criteria, not statistical significance tests. Every\noriginally admitted route is reported, including misses. Any subsequent model\ntransfer needs a separate complete protocol and actual memory/storage admission;\nthis note does not start it automatically. Appropriate AdamW, competent global\nrate opportunities and untouched confirmation remain necessary before general\noptimization claims. The final shard remains unopened.\n\n## Implementation and resource boundary\n\nRead-only source inspection found full_worker.py currently asserts seed46;\nthe original file and every frozen payload stay untouched. A follow-up copy\nmust change that explicit seed contract to47 and keep score/checkpoint configs\nconsistent. The existing model initializer already seeds CPU and CUDA. Native\nsingle-table hashing is deterministic; the retained hash_seed config controls\nthe existing compositional table coefficient families.\n\nAt most four new full checkpoints are approximately2.24GB under the current\n560MB admission bound. Actual completed workspace use, any new caches and the\nrequired2GiB reserve must be checked under48GB before launch. The current\nprojection is not permission to delete protected checkpoints or bypass the\n50GB cap. Use unchanged gpu-run/fullpool0–7/maxoneGPU/suppliedPython; preserve\nthe existing pre-model admission-only retry boundary and7200s per-job limit.\n\nNo new data access, acquisition, native run, toy or diagnostic was performed\nto write this note. Current study results remain unopened.\n\nThe local pre-readout document SHA256 is `012b44cdb81a8b22799d9b5ba0be490f5ebf6e38d8fb9a008bd2f69ef08fe8ab`. This conditional design leaves the existing full protocol, sources and all36learners/36scores unchanged.\n","content_truncated":false,"revision":1,"net_votes":1,"created_at":"2026-10-17T13:52:27.713211Z","deleted":false}}
